I had birds climbing on me today. I decided I felt good and we should take advantage of that, so we went to the aquarium. They have a lorikeet exhibit, and you can feed them - so I did. One landed on my shoulder and decided my chest was a good shortcut to the hand that had the food, so it climbed down me. Nate was amused.
Oh, I also got a sunburn, because apparently I've quite forgotten the existence of sunblock. Go, me.
What else? I left a game on IJ because of uber-anal mods, and got another character into ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) malahsa. I am playing Jake Chambers (and Oy) in addition to Charlie McGee and Chase Collins. XD. I needed one character that was ... y'know. Adaptable and not batshit crazy or paranoid.
Um. I'm feeling good. I mean, better than I have all year. I only really flare now when I fuck up on the diet or I'm PMSly hormonal. Hopefully, new BC will take care of the hormonal bit, and in another month, the Elmiron should be having a noticeable effect (personally, I'm pretty sure it's having a pretty damn noticeable effect right now).
I'm managing to hang onto muses fairly well, which is pleasing. I mean, granted, we did switch games once since I started feeling better, but ... hey. I think that's not too bad.
I am sadly kind of sleepy right now. ::ponders this:: So i might drift off to bed or some such. Or to see if anything's going on on heroes. |

Harder than expected. Tempers rise easily. But overall I think doing this was a great choice. It is fucking hot in our condo though...air conditioning is too expensive and instrusive for this year anyway. Fans will have to do.
My cat is slowly adapting. he has been very scared lately...hiding under my bed only to come out to eat and use litter box. Today he came over and slept with me a bit on the bean bag chair..I am liking this because when he was an outdoor cat he pretty much ignored me and hung around my parents when he was actually inside. The mouse isn't even aware he has moved I don't think. he just runs on his wheel.
The balcony is also a place of enjoyment for Hermes. I think he likes being so high up and being able to watch traffic and other things.
Our BBQ works really well. I made skewers (mushroom, red pepper, and tofu). Easy and delicious. I have a tonne of new tofu recipes to try out.
Andrew already refused to eat soemthing I made. I told him he can make his own meals. There is no way I am not eating what I want because he has the culinary experience of a 2 year old. No offense to him. It was fucking grilled chicken with nothing on it. I made a pita..he picked all of the chicken out. I was like..wtf that costs money you know. God. Ridiculous and stupid thing to fight about. but I couldn't believe it.
No furniture really. Computer desk, bed, and a bean bag chair. Nice. Bean bag chair hurts my back. But it is better than nothing I suppose. We are going to buy some bar stools tomorrow to go with the kitchen counter. May also buy this leather storage chest to go in the bedroom under the window. I would also like to get a fuzzy rug to put on my side of the bed (no one will see it, hahah). We shall see though.
Andrew has really been enjoying the PVR thing a lot. I don't mind it. But so far it recorded the wrong show..I wanted Work out..and it recorded workout..which is some indian work out show. I was like..WTF IS THIS hahaha. So I figured that out and hopefully all goes well. Too many channels though. I find it a tad overwhelming.
Other than that..life is good. Place looks great despite the bareness..but we still need places to put a few things..our storage space isn't available yet. I hope that doesn't take too long.
Anyway my TV show is on..and I don't feel like recording it.

Lesley's graduation party was today, and it was such fun! I caught up with Lesley and her boyfriend, as well as two people from high school and, oddly enough, our high school religions teacher. I thought the whole thing might be awkward, since neither of the other two girls and I were close friends, and our teacher and his wife was there. But we ended up having a great conversation and a good time. The weather was great, and the time went by quickly. I'm glad I made it a point to come up to Tigard.
Notes:
- Good for Lesley for taking a lot of crap today, especially from our old teacher. She's awesome.
- The more time I spend with Lesley's boyfriend, the more I like him. They're perfect for each other, but not to the point where it's sickening.
- One of the girls at the party dated one of the guys from my Argument and Discourse class for awhile. Small world.
- Dad and I saw The Dark Knight this afternoon. He liked it a bunch, and I think I enjoyed it more the second time around.
- Found out the guy I had a major crush on in high school is getting married. I found that surprising, since he didn't seem like the married-before-25 type, but what do I know. Good for him
- We talked a little about middle school today, and I think I went a little over board on my rant against it. I hated middle school, and I think I made that fact a little too well known. Hope I didn't scare anyone. Oh well. Turns out I still have issues with the place. But that's not a problem I have to deal with anymore.
Today was a good, long, day.

You know how a week ago, I posted and was kind of depressed that my roomies all had dates and guys hitting on them, but I didn't?
Well, that situation is remedied. :D
I sat next to this guy at The Dark Knight and we talked for the half hour before the movie started. He was hot, and seemed really interesting, and asked for my number when it was over. We went out on Monday evening, then all day Thursday, and kissed last night.

Sooo. Got this from Wyatt. Comment and I'll pick 7 of your interests that you have to then repost and explain in your journal.
1.Anarchism- I think anarchism is really, really interesting. Right after I graduated highschool I was really into street art, and all of that counter-culture underground revolution type stuff. Then I had to grow up and become a responsible member of society.
2.Bartending- I really want to be a bartender. I just haven't gotten around to finding money to pay for bartending school and going through all of the steps to make that sort of thing happen. I'm not sure that it would work out with the kid. Working that kind of shift is not two-year-old compatible.
3. Beth's Cafe- Beth's is pretty much the most awesome cafe ever. Diner-style food. Huge helpings. Tattoed, pierced, punky staff. Open 24/7. They give you paper and crayons and hang everyone's art on the walls. Wyatt, next time you're in Seattle I'll take you. It's awesome. You'd dig it.

My dad told me that he thinks Obama might be the antichrist based on what the Bible says. It talks about the devil tricking everyone, being all substance. He said that Obama was born in the right time frame, the right place. He said that the antichrist will create a cult-like following which will lead him to power. ...Basically we are all going to die :D LOL! |

My boss is a fucking douche. Straight up. He chewed me out today for a bunch of shit that is not my fault, and the only reason it was falling on me was because I was the only trainer there today. Basically, he decided not to do classes in the hotel anymore, which is all well and good. With Sarah here we're doing over-lapping classes. Which means that there are times when we have two classes at once. Which means we have to do these classes in the hotel, as they cannot both happen in the ring in the store. Soooo, I get to work today, and first thing go to talk to him about changing my status to part time. Not even on the clock for another half an hour. What's he say to me? "Tracy told me you want to do class in the hotel tomorrow morning. I thought I made myself clear on this" Long story short, we argue, he sends me to Tracy who says it's up to him, I end up changing my class that's supposed to be at 10:30 to 9:30. I'm pissed, ready to quit, and am annoyed that I have to be at work at 9:00 every Saturday for the next eight weeks, when I work until 9 or 9:30 on Friday nights. Neither of those times can change either, because I have classes. I've decided as a result of this that if my new job should choose to offer me full time in the future I will ditch Petsmart and do it. I will do private training on the side. THose jokers can suck my nuts.
When I said that TSH was a more hip hop version of Hellogoodbye I was retarded and had only listened to like one or two songs. What they really are is an awesome more mature and amazing Hellogoodbye. Don't Call is pretty much the most awesome song ever. Don't argue. I am right.
I drove with my brother some more tonight. He picked me up from work, we went to Sarah's to look at the car she is lending me, and then went to his house. I drove the whole way. Which is involves hills, and major roads. I did good. I'm getting the hang of it. He even said I was doing well which made me like....swell with pride. Haha.
I want to change my facial hair, but I don't know what to. Suggestions are welcome. I currently do not really grow any hair in the mustache/goatee area however. And it's a little patchy in like the cheek/dimple area. My sideburns aren't quite as awesome as I would like them to be. Maybe if I trim them and my hair they would be awesome again. I need a beard/mustache trimmer thing.
I'm almost done reading GoF. I'm so ready to move on. I may just stay up and read tonight even though I have to be up in six hours. Oh well. Who needs sleep? I'm not doing anything Sunday. I can sleep in.

Someone should give me an Amazon gift certificate for 39.50 so I can buy top secret awesomeness. I might just buy it next week, but I really, really should be spending my money on more grown-up things. Like groceries and rent, and a car, and....stuff. Sad.

I feel like I'm getting my nerd on hardcore in the last week or so, and will continue to do so. Which makes me happy. I enjoy getting my nerd on. It's a part of myself that I enjoy.
I think Nathan is mad at me. He has not returned my call. Which I deserve. However, as a counselor, I think he's supposed to be above the kind of behavior which involves not calling people back because they have canceled or shown up late to about 1,000 appointments. There was never a "This needs to stop or I can't see you anymore" conversation. Maybe he's just been busy. I was hoping we could have a session on Monday, though I have no money for it anyways. I have exciting things to tell him, and my time with him grows short. Why do counselors always leave me eventually? The ones I like anyways.
It smells like dog fart and neither of them is anywhere near here. In fact, I am the only one anywhere near here. I did not fart though, nor do I suddenly smell like dog fart. Weird.
I'm going to go read now. And watch the trailer again after listening to that song about 80 times in a row. Thanks. |
