Is there really a Gakuen Alice Season 2 on March 2009? News has been spreading, but there had been a lot of speculations on having a Season 2, and most of them turned out to be wrong. Funny, this morning I saw it in Wikipedia, it was written like it was a sure thing. The next time I opened it, it was posted that it was a rumor until further evidence is given. Sigh, how a single rumor could raise your hopes high, then let it come crashing down. =(

Hi. I only recently got into Gakuen Alice (after I noticed the first volume in the bookstore). I quickly became hooked and started looking for scanlations and have watched the anime (but no, I'm not here to ask for scanlations). Now I must say I'm really surprised that I like the series so much because...I'm not really a fan of shoujo at all. In fact it's not the romance that's the draw for me, but the intriguing premise and all the mysteries behind the Academy.

But first of all, before I join this delightful community, I feel like I should let something be known beforehand, something that could potentially lead to some difficulties with you wonderful people--

My favorite character is Persona.

Yeah, that's right, THE Persona. Now, before you all throw tomatoes (or worse) at me, just give me a chance to defend myself. I know that the villains really aren't popular in this fandom, and I actually haven't seen any Persona fan before while poking around this lj and various forums, but honestly...I love the guy. I seem to have a weakness for screwed-up teacher figures (how else could I love Ritsu-sensei from Loveless so?), and besides, Persona's just an interesting character. He's more than just a one-dimensional baddie--from what little we've seen so far it seems the guy definitely has a story, a delightfully angsty one to boot. Not to mention his sense of style is...well, hey, I drool over it.

So yeah. Just thought I'd let you all know before you, um, all castigate me or something. Hope I didn't just invite a death sentence. And--glad to join this community!

If you guys can remember, I posted/made a Birthday Calendar of the GA characters. And I received some corrections and additional birthdays, so I'm going to edit it (..Finally. xD It's hard to make time!).
I need a little help though. I can't find pictures for some of the characters (Two of which I am not familiar with):

Hi guys.. I'm new here and I really love everything about GA! Oh yeah...

Since I don't know what else to share, I think I'll just post the link to my favorite Fanfic! It's the awesomest!

It's called Beauty Pageant Woes and by far the most addictive fic I've read. It's unfinished and hasn't been updated for a while but I think I recall its author saying something about reading manga chapter summaries here so its possible she's reading this right now... (UPDATE IT ALREADY!)

"At his company's Anime Expo panel on Friday, The Right Stuf International's Shawne Kleckner has announced the license of the Gakuen Alice magical school comedy anime in a series box set that is planned for spring of 2009. The 2004-2005 26-episode anime adapted Tachibana Higuchi's shōjo manga about a seemingly ordinary girl named Mikan who decides to enroll in a magical school to follow her best friend. Mikan strives to prove herself worthy of being in the school. Tokyopop released the first three volumes of the manga series in North America."

Hi! I am Luis Gonzalez (or LG65 or Luis for short). I came across this group and because of my love for Gakuen Alice, I joined! I hope I feel welcome.

ok, went to kino after work today to browse various mags that i dun intend to buy this month but the next.
Reason being, the furoku is not attractive to me.. hahax..

Browse Hana to yume and Lala mag for the following:

I shall say GA is the chapter that i am most looking forward to!

It is truly exciting and breath taking!!!!

Chapter 99....

It start off with Ruka running while having small flashbacks
Mikan: Ruka pyon!
And seeing Mikan running away with Natsume while worrying about Ruka himself.
Upon seeing the sight of Mikan running with Natsume, he felt quite sad? in his chest.[He was clutching his chest)
And Ruka got ambushed at a certain bush....

The guy saving Hotaru, calling her as Cool Blue Sky...He carried her to the Hime mansion too...
Hotaru woke up and left from his back.
He ask her is she alright and Hotaru shot him a word: Who are you?
Hahax.. that's real evil of Hotaru...
And he never gave up keep calling her as Hotaru left, and both of them meet Mikan and Natsume in the room.

Hotaru and Mikan embraced each other being so glad to see each other again.
And the mushy heartwarming talks between the two of them which Mikan came into the academy and impose so much problems and trouble to Hotaru while Hotaru says its glad that Mikan came in so that she could still smile like that and found strength to reject the academy's decision of going overseas.

The principal asked Mikan what's on her neck and Mikan took out a necklace with the Alice stones.
Natsuem saw it and have a realization.
Mikan wearing the 3 alice stones on her neck that she got -- From Tono senpai from earlier, Natsume's for her bdae, Sakurano senpai's where the mysterious Alice stone which kept following her before.
The cream colored of sakurano senpai alice stone is glowing and it said to be in sync with the original owner wish and the alice will take effect which is teleportation.
Hotaru and Natsume rush to grabbed Mikan while the teleportation is activating.

They reached another principal office where Narumi and Jinno sensei is.
They are glad that all 3 were safe.
Just then Natsume sense Ruka and called out for him;
Ruka appeared with Noda sensei.
All 4 of them finally reunited.
And with a shadow which is obviously Yuka behind the door.

Chapter ends!

Wow!!! That's truly exciting!!!! I can't wait to see the 100th chapter and buy that issue.

Natsume sure gonna be the first again! Wow!

Pardon me if its not too clear... Any mistake do tell me! This is meant as a summary to let fans like me know what on earth happening in chapter 99 before the scans are out.
There are many nitty gritty details but just hard to translate to English even though i understand it. Sorry! ^^

Toshokan Sensou is also quite sweet but dun feel like reading it word for word like GA again.. it's brain consuming... hahax...
Vampire Knight, had already read the raws online earlier , same as Kaicho.
Hoshi wa Utau chapter is more develpment on Yuri's attitude towards Sakuya from non-chalant to caring for a friend and finally starts to fall for her and get rather jealous when Chihiro came and took all the attention away from Sakuya.

Phew.. that's a long entry i ever wrote for now.
