Circle of Friends

“I’m telling you. That kid is weird! He never takes off his sunglasses in the house, no matter how dark it is. I wake up in the morning, and he is always gone with his guitar. Then roughly at sunset he comes in without a word and locks himself in his room. As soon as I fall asleep, he starts walking around the house!” Tora yelled in frustration, rubbing his puffy red eyes. It had been a week since Ryo had moved in with Tora, but in the entire time he had been there, he had never gotten more than four words out of his mouth. The members of Gazette, Alice Nine, and Sug had gathered at Tora’s house to discuss the situation at hand, but the conversation flowed towards Tora’s new housemate.

“If the kid is being a brat, then kick him out. We have more important things to talk about. Like how we’re going to kick Takeshi’s ass out of PSC.” Ruki grumbled, pulling out another beer.

“Ruki, be a good guest and get me another can…” Tora muttered, waving his empty can of Corona.

“Me too!” Uruha, Reita, and Chiyuu spoke up.

“Can you get me a Coke with ice?” Takeru asked, taking one of Tora’s guitars from its stand.

“I’ll have hot tea!” Kai said.

“Oh sounds good, get me one too Ruki san!” Shou piped up from the couch.

“What the fuck do I look like? A waiter? Get your own damn drinks.” Ruki said, pulling out an extra Corona for Tora. He tossed it to the guitarist and took a seat on the barstool.

“Come on you guys, this is a serious meeting. Gazette, Sug, and Alice Nine got screwed over into signing a contract with PSC. Now grandma has left the company to her nephew, and he’s going to bring new, softer bands in. PSC is a rock label, why does he want to bring in pop artists?” Nao asked, scratching his head.

“Why do you think? He wants money. He doesn’t give a damn about integrity.” Aoi spat bitterly, going to the kitchen.

“There must be something in the contract about this…” Saga said, leafing through the pages of the contract.

“Nope, I already checked. We are bound to PSC for five more years.” Hiroto said.

There came a knock from the front door, everyone turned to Tora, who looked puzzled, “Strange, I thought Ryo had a key.” He said standing up. He walked to the door and opened it, but instead of Ryo, another man stood in the entry way, “Miyavi!”

The tall man walked into the room full of his former label mates, “Greetings, my brothers!” He said, waving his arms lavishly. He hadn’t changed a bit, even though he was dressed in more or less normal clothing, his personality was still as crazy as ever.

“Marriage didn’t change you at all did it?” Uruha laughed. Several hours, and a dozen beers later, everyone was talking and laughing like they used to.

“No, marriage is fine, the baby is doing great. But I stumbled on a problem which might get me into trouble.” Miyavi confessed.

“So that was the reason you stopped by.” Tora concluded, “I knew you would never show up if you didn’t see a gain.”

Miyavi stared wide eyed at the guitarist, “No, I heard that my buddies were gathering because of the new owner of PSC. So I decided to cheer you up.”

“If you want to cheer us up, sign us into your label.” Ruki said glumly, resting his chin in his hand.

Miyavi laughed, “Sorry guys, I can’t afford any of you. But when your contract ends, feel free to join me. Anyways the real reason I came here was to ask you guys to help me find someone. She lived in Okinawa since she was a kid, and her father, one of my good friends, arranged for her to come to a hospital in Tokyo for medical attention. He told me to visit her, and to make sure that she was doing okay. However, I came by last week and the nurses told me that she had run away, which is impossible!”

“People run away from hospitals all the time, why are you surprised?” Aoi asked.

Miyavi sighed, “Because this girl is a blind twenty one year old cry baby. There is no way she would survive in the outside world. If she got killed or something, I might as well be dead.” He reached into his wallet and pulled out a picture of a beautiful woman with long reddish brown hair. Her eyes however looked strange. The pupil was not a black circle; instead it bled out into her hazel iris.

“Ouch, what happened?” Ruki said, taking the picture from Miyavi. It was disturbing yet fascinating. He put the picture down on the counter and took another sip of beer.

“She was in a car accident when she was five. The glass from the car slashed her eyes.”

Everyone sat in somber silence as the front door opened. Everyone turned to see a small blonde teenager, clad in baggy pants and a baseball cap. Ryo looked around the room, “You didn’t say you’d have company today, I wouldn’t have come back this early.” He said, walking towards the counter to put his keys down. Ruki stared at the young boy, watching his cautious movements closely.

“Sorry, Ryo, we were having a meeting regarding work. Everyone, this is Ryo, my housemate, Ryo these are my friends, Saga, Hiroto, Uruha, Takeru, Reita, Chiyuu, Yuji, Aoi, Nao, Kai, Shou, Miyavi, Masato, and Ruki.”

“Hajimemashite…” He said quietly, his voice raspier than usual. He put down his keys and felt a piece of paper at the end of his finger tips. He picked up the picture and looked at it, then quickly put it down without a word. Ruki raised an eyebrow at the boy, making sure no one else saw him. “Does she look familiar to you? Tora said you spend your days on the streets, maybe you saw her?”

“If you know anything please tell me.” Miyavi pleaded, “My life is on the line. Her name is Kyoko, she’s a bit older than you.”

Ryo shook his head, “I did see her, last week. She was in the park, crying because she was lost. I tried to ask her for details but she wouldn’t tell me anything. Sorry… If I would have known earlier I would have told Tora.” He hung his head, then turned to Tora, “I’m gonna go to bed, I think I caught the cold or something.” He said with a cough. Ryo turned to walk to the hallway, but bumped into Ruki, who was sitting in the barstool. “Watch where you’re going…” Ruki muttered. Ryo mumbled an apology and walked to his room, slamming the door shut.

“Well it was worth a try, I’m going to call the police and update them. Thanks for your help guys.” Miyavi said with a strained smile as he excused himself and left. Everyone continued with their conversations, but Ruki stared at Ryo’s door, lost in thought.

 

 

 

A/N: Chapter two...Can anyone figure out what is wrong with Ruki?

It's gonna be a fucking busy week. I hope everything will be fine though.

Heute hatte ich ein Gespräch mit unserem Familienhelfer, Markus.
Er sagte mir ganz ehrlich, dass mein Verhalten, meine Art etc für den Psychologen der mit in den Familienhilfskreis gehört, ziemlich besorgnisserregend sei. Ich sei wohl jetzt schon Depressiv.
Ich kannte die Verdacht schon aus Kindertagen, nun wurde es als entgültig ausgesprochen.
Um das Schlimmste zu verhindern werde ich in Therapie gehen hat man gemeinsam beschlossen ö.ö;
Erstmal zwei bis drei Wochen irgendwo in einer Art Kur als Start und dann regelmäßige Therapiebesuchung.

Ist schon komisch. Ich selbst dachte immer "Ach, ich bin ja nicht so krass wenn ich mein Umfeld zum Teil anschau".
So geht's XD~

Hab dann heute sehr krass angefangen, mein Zimmer aufzuräumen.

ok, so. I guess he, like a few other jrockers now (Sayo~) has discovered the アメバピグ thing now xD;;; Fyi "ameba pigg" is like... idk, little avatar things you can make, and you can have a room and chat and stuff. Kinda like Gaia, I guess? But on Ameba, obviously. Anyway... apparently a few jrockers have started using it and will even chat (mostly ones I don't know/care about, but Sayo did make one x3 don't think he chatted though...)
To the point. I guess Shou did what I haven't been brave enough to do (I haven't made a pigg thing yet, hard to know exactly wtf I'm doing ahaha *doesn't want to like, delete her journal or something*) and had a go, and while he was randomly clicking about he must've made a room and was assaulted by a bunch of fangirls going "shoukuuuuuuuuuun" and whatnot, lmfao. He posted a blog (that I missed until it was translated, haha) all like "I was doing random stuff and apparently made a room, I'm sorry I don't know how this works!" LOLOLOL. I can imagine him flailing all "omg wtf did I do o.O" bahahaha.

I'm still laughing, btw xDDD

But in his last blog he said he can't update or check fanmail while he's overseas, so yeah. Don't even know how long he's gone for ._.;; Sadness.... Sayo's random blogs were fun. A bitch to try and read (HE MAKES UP WORDS OMFG ¬.¬) but... fun. Silly Eva otaku LOL.
Ah well, Denu's taken well to posting on ameba, anyway. Though I swear, the more I see "dsg…" the more I want to throttle the boy, omfg. "dsg" being Denu shorthand for "desu ga" (ですが). Coz typing those 3 characters is SO hard, it makes such a difference to only type 'dsg' unstead of 'desuga', saving on the vowels there… ¬.¬;;;; gah.



Anyway... I was going to post about Selia, but I'll save that coz it'll just get lost in the lulz about Shou and then he wouldn't be appreciated (though I'm probably the only one who'd care anyway, but meh). SO ENJOY THE LULZ, PPL.

es ist schon traurig, was man alles macht um nicht an die klausuren denken zu müssen. meine wohnung ist selten so sauber wie jetzt, sogar zum fenster putzen hatte ich zeit, ich hab angefangen meinen kleiderschrank auszusortieren und auch sonst einfach alles gemacht um mögichst nicht zu viel zu lernen...weshalb ich ab jetzt nicht mehr viel anderes machen werde...ich sollte wirklich besser vorausplanen und etwas gegen meine fehlende motivation tun.
dabei ist es ja nicht so als würde es mir keinen spaß machen, aber es gibt immer soviel anderes zu tun.

gestern, bloodhound gang konzert in der kantine...es war toll
aber ich hätte schlimmeres erwartet. sie waren zwar durchaus eklig, aber ihrem ruf als ekligste band der welt sind sie nicht wirklich gerecht geworden. gut die vollgepisste mütze war mies, aber sonst war es doch noch sehr gemäßigt und längst nicht so schlimm wie ich erwartet habe. was mich mehr überrascht hat war, dass sie mich musikalisch überzeugt haben. ich fand ihre songs bisher zwar nicht schlecht, aber vom hocker gerissen haben sie mich auch nicht...live sieht das allerdings ganz anders aus. alles in allem war der abend gestern ein voller erfolg, den man durchaus nochmal wiederholen könnte.

HAHAHAHA THIS SHOW ROCKS!!! XDD
I havent seen it since i was 15 when i was up at 2 am watching the international channel. hahaha
Thank you uranaoki for reminding me of his show XD
