current mood: worried
current song: the sound of the boob tube.

Just thought I would let everyone who is interested know..

I'm about two pages away from finishing the first issue. Not inked pages, of course, there's still many of those to post. They should be up around... sometime after this weekend. I've had a lot of stress lately... mainly that my little sister is in the hospital with no one knows what. Some sort of systemic infection, is as far as they can guess. Anyway, Completed page updates will start coming again some time next week.

HISTORICAL NOTE: Alexander did not like to spoil himself with luxuries, as most kings did. This perhaps has a lot to do with his tutors: Lysachimos, as well as the great (if not flambouyant) Aristotle himself. They both stressed the important of moderation, and Alexander took it to heart. He was raised by his tutors on a diet of an early wake and brisk walk in the morning, as well as minor meals that were nourishing enough to keep him going. Generally, his training toughened him, and also made him hate laziness, as well as being idle. He was known to jump on and off of his chariot during the marches, just to take exercise if there was no good hunting available.

Does anyone see why this man is my hero?
