I just found the Alexanderfans LJ today, did not know it was here. I see the new CD's are out, but his site seems to be down. A friend, Greg, and I ran sound for Alec at Loscon last November. Here are the Pictures I took.
I have photos from both the 26 October and 8 December, 2007 concerts online in my scrapbook under Alexander James.
If I get around to it, I'll add some photos from Norwescon on 6 April 2007.
Also, HI! New to this community. Silly me never thought to see if there was a community for fans of Alec, even though know several people who are already members. ;-)

I was at the second weekend of Ren Faire this weekend and got to hear Alex perform for the first time. The first show was rife with technical difficulties and Alex finally just turned off the mic and performed with no amplification. This show felt so intimate and warm and had perhaps the best performance of Familiars Promise ever. While I understand the need for amplification it was a true delight to hear Alex perform without it. The Tricky Pixie performance at the end of the second show was also amazing. I loved the way Sooj took the stage with Daughter of the Glade. Both Sooj and Alex have such wonderful facial expressions that it is a treat to watch them perform live. Alex seems more vibrant and alive than ever before and that energy was shared by his audience. Songs of note:
He of Sidhe was amazing I think I prefer it even to Fairy Queen Is it just me or has the fiddling improved since last year faire?
Troll of Vahalla was completely touching. I didn't know Carl well but I appreciated this song being played so often it kept him in our memories as he deserved to be.
Beltane Fire OMG Words can not express this song.
Creature of the wood/Daughter of the glade If you don't already own the Tricky Pixie CD buy it just for the explanations of these two songs. It is worth it.
There were many more of note but Those were the ones that really stuck in my mind.

Here are the pictures I took at the renfaire today. There are some of Alec alone & with Tricky Pixie. Enjoy!
Here's a link to a gallery with pictures I took of Tricky Pixie at Faerieworlds... could someone forward the link to Alec or Kore so they can pull the pictures of Alec if they like? I don't have time to resize these right now, so the full size images are HUGE.. I will probably take these down in a couple of days when I have more time & then upload smaller images.
Here is the link to the pictures of some of the bands. Mostly Gaia Consort & Tricky Pixie. I got a lot of good ones of Alec, he is as photogenic as Heather was.
Can I trust CelticCougar to pass this along to Aja for me? WesterCon photo taken by K.D. Savitzky © 2007
Here's a shot from "Faire in the Grove" SCA event, April 28th. Myself (Conchobar) and Alec on bodhrans and my apprentice Eala singing "Wolfen One". We ended our set with it and Alec graciously joined us onstage for it as a lead-in to his own set.
I met Heather about 15 years ago, and have played with her on harp or bodhran a couple times over the years at various pagan faires, cons and SCA events.
And a shot of Alec by himself-
Anyone have pictures of Alec to share? Either at the concert, or just in general?

I have pictures of Heather from the Port Angeles, Midsummer, and Gig Harbor Ren Faires to share! *does dance of joy*
( behind a cut to save bandwidth )
I particularly like the one with the drum (2nd from last). It's got rays of sunlight shining down on her at an angle, it's almost angelic.

For you Heatherphiles, here is a photo taken at a house concert this past weekend.
I *lust* that vest.
OK, being able to compose and perform like Heather wouldn't be half bad either, but I think my chances of having a similar vest are better.

My friend gave me this picture she took at RingCon last spring. I'm finally getting around to posting it.
