I know some of you have been unsure of how to order CDs from Alec and Kore, and Kore's been too busy to update the official website. So I wrote this up, got some corrections from Kore, and I hope you find it helpful.

Hello everyone,

Just thought I'd tell everyone that Arms of the Sea and Everafter (CD, DVD, and booklet) on the heatherlands site! I can't wait to get my copies!

DVD!! (And new CDs)

  • Oct. 19th, 2006 at 2:05 PM
For those who haven't heard yet:

11/17-19 Fri-Sun OryCon, downtown Marriott Hotel, PORTLAND, OR
day passes available: concert on 11/18 at 9pm
This is THE concert everyone is talking about!
Special performance/effects/videographers.
No personal cameras (including cell phone cameras) or video
equipment allowed for this performance. Photos/footage
taken at this event without permission will be
confiscated...

THE ORYCON CONCERT: For those unable to attend this once-in-a-lifetime
concert, take note! There will be a professional, nonregional DVD
made of this performance that will be available at year's end! A
special sneak peek at Sunday during OryCon: Heather will be selling a
special little faerie tale she has written at Sea Fire Production's
dealer's table...

Much as I want to be at OryCon, I think driving from Western Montana to Portland, Oregon with a 15-month-old might border on lunacy. A DVD, a DVD! *bounce bounce bounce*

Also, for those who haven't heard THIS yet, either, "Arms of the Sea" should ship in the next 3-4 weeks (finally!), and "Everafter" will be available after OryCon, unless you're going to OryCon, in which case you can buy it there. No pre-orders on "Everafter," sadly.

Boy, Heather's a busy little bee this year.

Oooohhh....new albums....

I'm a total dork.

I'm currently at RadCon, and attended Heather's concert today at 3pm. She mentioned she has three (!) new albums coming out this year. When she mentioned the one coming out this summer--an album of sea shanties--I got hopeful.

When she talked about the title song being a song she didn't have on any other album that people ask her to put on an album, I got excited and started wriggling in my chair, which amused my son to no end.

So way back when, (last RadCon, I guess,) I asked about a song called "Arms of the Sea." Well, guess what the title song of the sea shanty album is.

Now, if someone can just talk her into recording "Ichabod Crane," I can die a happy Heatherlet.
