Ed and Al cosplay
Kris and I grabbed our cameras, put on our cosplay, and headed out to the park to take some Ed and Al photos yesterday. Of course, we had to stop off at Steak and Shake first.
( Go Brother Go!!! )
This "photoshoot" has made me decide to buy a new wig for Edward -.-;; uhg. Kris and I are going to Kostume Room on Thursday.

Snorlax Cap!
I'm making my own Snorlax Gijinka for Matsuri. I just finished the cap:
You can't see in the picture but it's a long stocking cap, like people used to wear to bed. Mine's a bit longer than the usual one though. (It looks like one Link would wear!)

Update
Quick head's up:
My machine is still obliterated, and in a shop as we speak.
The only access will be on campus, if labs are not packs or locked to a class.
Tonight I'm at my Step Father's, checking long-overdue emails and the like after a day with the family.
I apologize for not being able to interact with anyone in this hiatus.

'Hot' most certainly does not harbor the same slang connotations as it does in this day and age.

I'm so tired of bad writers.
Atrocious writers, whose work anyone within the field of literature or publishing would scoff at... that everyone claims are an 'exclusion' to the rule.
It's great and peachy and splendorous that you're sweet, nice, etc ad infinum.
But that shouldn't blind people to the fact you regurgitate the same thing every teenage girl has ever written in a fanfiction. That shouldn't be the deciding factor that makes you followed about doggedly, and worshiped for every literary sneeze you create.

Sometimes I stare at this place in horror.
Others, I realize....
I need to step away from fandom. I'm not twelve. Everything worthwhile has been done.
Writing on 'RoyxEd plots of smashing each other through headboard'-'drunk virginity-taking'-'Male pregnancy Edwards whose babies are named after dead characters'-'cat chimera someones'....
I've come to the startling conclusion that: It is terrible as a body of work. I can be ashamed of it.
And I can step away to read things of substance, great depth and talent in the place of being force-fed the same blueprints of fan-borne attraction that everyone else mindlessly consumes with neither reason nor logic....

Let's see. Went to the comicbook store yesterday. Also went to the bookstore today. At the beginning of the week I mowed someone else's yard.
Dad recently went on a trip to Germany, from which he brought back stuff. I got two t-shirts and a couple of cds. ^_^

In other news, in addition to being a Nascar and Soccer widow I am now also an Olympics widow. We have both TV tuners in our DVR recording all day, which my husband then spends all night watching both at the same time using picture in picture.
I barely get to see him anymore.
