• Have you not updated your livejournal recently?
  
• Do you still have the default layout and/or have nothing to very little in your userinfo?
  
• Is your journal no more than three months old?
  
• Do you have few LJ friends, comments received, comments posted, and/or journal entries?
  
• Are you a part of mainly file sharing communities?
  
• Do your friends/comments/entries not add up with the amount of time/communities you have on LJ?
  
• Did you forget to include the username of the person who referred you?
  
• Did you forget to answer both questions in the application?
  
• Did you forget to click "join the community"?

If you answered YES to any of the following, it is probably why you were not approved. You can always re-apply once you meet our criteria.

Starting today, Friday March 23, we are doing a member cleanup.
This also means that membership will be closed until further notice.

We just ask that you be active in this community as while as your own journal. There will be no specific post you need to comment to. The clean-up is already going on.

Good morning all.
Starting right now, we have a new membership process.
Memberships will be approved using the following guidelines:

-All new members have to comment in this entry
-They must fill out the three questions in the entry
-They must have had their LJ for more than 3 months (unless they got a new username and were a previous member, in which case they have to put their old username)
-They have a decent amount of comments
-They have more than just file sharing communities as friends
-Their LJ is not default

Questions:

1) Where did you find out about album_love? If you found out from another user/community please name it. If you were a member, but changed your username please state your old username.
2) Why do you want to join? (More than just "I love music" please)
3) Favourite album?
