Alberta Watson is happy love. For marialena11's birthday, I promised her a birthday gift that she will love. I made her a teaser and I got carried away so it became a big teaser. I have more stuff in plan though. Madeline/Operations fic in the writing too. I played a lot with the colourings and such because I'm a dork and I just discovered selective colouring. Two of Alberta's films set to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival [30 Aug 2006|11:42am] jaybee65 If anyone happens to be in Toronto in mid-September, you may want to check out a couple of Alberta's films that are making their world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. The first film, "Citizen Duane" will be showing on September 8 and 10, and the second, "Away From Her" (in which Alberta only has a small role) is scheduled to show on September 11 and 12. Spanking the Monkey [09 Aug 2006|04:55pm] ubiquitousmixie I finally got to watch "Spanking the Monkey" last night...and i don't have many words. I had expected to be more freaked out by the subject matter, but Al's portrayal was just amazing and I found I really liked the movie. She looks great in the film (those legs!) and just does a phenomenal job. it was such a difference from seeing her on LFN!  what did everyone else think about the movie? 3 comments|post comment

Alberta's debut on Angela's Eyes [28 Jul 2006|05:32pm] jaybee65 Alberta will make her debut as a recurring character in this Sunday's episode of Angela's Eyes, showing on Lifetime at 10pm Eastern (9 Central). Don't miss it! You might also be interested in checking out her guest appearance on the second season of Puppets Who Kill, which recently came out on DVD. She appeared in the first episode of the second season (in the episode entitled "Bill Sues") as a judge who holds a hearing to determine whether one of the evil puppets should be castrated. Info on Angela's Eyes [19 Jun 2006|08:37pm] jaybee65 Here's a link to a story about Angela's Eyes, the new Lifetime series premiering on July 16 that Alberta has a recurring role in. She plays a former CIA agent convicted (along with her husband) of spying for the Eastern Bloc, whose estranged daughter (the main character) now works for the FBI.
