alanbunnies, a fan appreciation community for Alan Rickman. We're generally a friendly and easy-going bunch, but unfortunately we do have to set forth a few simple ground rules so that this community can run smoothly.
Rules of the House
1. All posts must be on topic, and Alan related (pic spams, videos, articles, interviews, quotes, etc).
2. When posting, please use discretion in regards to others by using LiveJournal cuts for spoilers, high volume pic spams, or anything that could be potentially deemed NSFW (not safe for work).
2a. All "NSFW" posts must literally be tagged "NOT SAFE FOR WORK".
3. This community will not tolerate any flaming of any kind. Please browse other forums and/or communities if you are interested in that type of thing.
4. We now have a moderated membership on this community. People are still welcome to join, but we will not tolerate any disrespect.
5. The main focus of this community is to respect and appreciate Alan. It's fine to be Off Topic while commenting, just try to stay on topic whilst posting.
6. In the process of posting articles, video, pictures etc. Please try to list your initial source if you have access to it. By source we mean:
1) The photo agency.
2) The website.
3) The LJ user or community.
4) Any other means of obtaining the product.
I know many of us receive Google alerts so please post the site that you are taken to.
We understand that you may not at all times know where the initial image has come from. Many of us save things "random" and find them through a "Google search" or image site that have these pictures added by many users over. If this is the case, just say, "Hey found this on (Photobucket, etc) last night, thought I would share."
While we believe in "Copyright" law of the artists who initially create these various forms of media; we also have a deep understanding that this is The Internet. If something is posted on a webpage or blog chances are it will get copied by someone, somewhere and get reposted.
If the Legal Copyrighted Owner of any of the videos/photos/articles asks for their copyrighted material to be removed, we will do that immediately.
