I Think I'm Done [06 Oct 2008|12:35pm] elfarren [ mood | blah ] Perhaps I lost touch with the fandom ... perhaps I lost touch with the "voice" of my SS/HG characters ... whatever the case may be, I think I'm done writing stories set in the HP universe. I've never had the greatest reception to my stories anyway, and wrote them for fun/to fill time, so it's not a big loss, but I thought I should let everyone know that from now on I'll only be around in a friendly fan-girl way. Having said that, I'm working on an original fic I've had bubbling in my mind for more than a year now. I found some support for it at my new workplace, and me and two others have decided to do NaNoWriMo together next month. After I love into my new apartment today (the reason I haven't been around lately) I'm going to try and work on outlining and characterizations a little more, so that hopefully by the time November rolls around I'll be ready. That's all for the moment. I'll be temporarily internet-less while we make the move, but hopefully online again by the end of the week. I can't imagine it'll take much longer than a day or two to have our service switched.
