Hey, you. You're here because you want to go to the Veronica Marsathon at Ye Olde Alamo Drafthouse down in Austin (and, if you know what's good for you, stay for the world premiere of episode 11).

There's just one problem. Well, there are a lot of problems, but let's start with the first one:

There are only 200 tickets.

On December 2, at 5 PM CST, those tickets will go on sale, and the Internet will break. Because the VM fandom comprises more than 200 people. Included in that comprisal are a lot of people who probably shouldn't be let out of the house.

So, step one: getting tickets. To that end, this community will be used to organize a grand ticket-buying scheme, whereby certain members will buy multiple tickets on behalf of others (since we can't all be at our computers at the time they go on sale). Money will flow across the Internet. It will be glorious.

No one (except maybe eirefaerie) is guaranteed a ticket. We're not the only people who want to go to this thing, and come that Friday, there may be some unhappy people. But our goal is to make sure that everyone who wants to go and can go has a higher chance of getting a ticket than, say, Little Miss "OMG JD UR SO KEWL!!!111"

Step two: getting to Austin. Keep others notified of special deals on airfare. Organize road trips. Suggest alternate destinations (fly to Houston and drive to Austin? Brilliant!). And, in the grand tradition of money-collecting, see if you can help your fellow fans out. If you're lucky enough to get a ticket, we want you to be able to use it.

Step three: no sleep tonight. But you still might want a place to crash while you're in Austin. Discover lost cousins with large houses. Seek out discount hotel rooms. Share beds with people you've just met.

Step four: have the best weekend of your life.
