Welcome to akeys_challenge! This is an icon/blend challenge community that focuses on the lovely and talented Alicia Keys.

R U L E S
1. All kinds of icons are welcome, as long as they fit livejournal standards (100x100, under 40kb, .gif, .jpg, or .png). Blends are works of art that are larger than 300x300 px. Wallpapers may be submitted in either 800x600 or 1024x768 px sizes.
2. Please don't post/use the icons you make for the challenges until after the contest is over (to preserve anonymity).
3. Please don't vote for yourself! Self-explanatory.

S U B M I T T I N G
For each contest, the mods will make a post containing the challenge, whether it be of the icon, blend, or wallpaper variety. In order to enter, you must submit your work in a comment to the entry post (all comments will be screened).

V O T I N G
Challenges will be posted at the beginning of the week, usually right after the previous challenge ends. The deadline will be Fridays at midnight and voting will start on Saturday and end on Sunday. When you vote, follow the directions in the poll post as to how many works to vote for.
