Just got back from watching The Dark Knight w/iamrice, we went to McDonald's afterwards b/c 20 minutes through the movie I got REALLY REALLY HUNGRY wth self. I also got motion sickness while watching. Not going to have a write up but jumping the apparent bandwagon to say I completely loved the Joker. I also loved Two Face and his half shiny coin. ;____;

&I finally finished most of the fic I owe people? Kinda... except all the naughty yaoi stuff. Anywayyy. I'm a pig. I'm still hungry so I'm going to eat some ice cream now.

Got scheduled to work at the same times for both Shopper's and HMV over the long weekend, and HMV is short staffed, so I can't get out of the shifts there. Which means I have to go talk to Kelly and see if she can do anything with my shifts at Shopper's. A couple of people owe me for shifts of their's I've taken for them, so hopefully it'll work out OK.

I'm planning on going back to Armstrong for my birthday next month. I'm going to book the time off at both jobs sometime this coming week, which is plenty of notice since my birthday isn't until the 21st of August. I've already alerted my friends there that we'll be going out the Friday after my actual birthday (which is on the Thursday)

I finally have my Yamato icon~ I'm so proud of it *A* Now my goal for the week is to finish those requests!!!! I have a few days off after tomorrow, so I'm going to shoot for having them done by the time I go back to work (I think I've got 3 days off in a row, maybe 4)

In about one hour and thirty minutes, the wedding will start, and my sister will no longer be a Martinez, but and Artischophsky (yeah.....still don't know how to spell it). I think I'm ready. We've been preparing since they got engaged pretty close to a year ago, but I don't know if emotionally, I've been ready. But now, I know.

Ana. You have been a really great sister to me and I love you dearly. You may be moving to Austin, but you are not too far away from me.

Greg. You are one great man and I trust my sister to you. I know you'll do everthing to make her happy, even though a lot of what you say makes people facepalm (in a loving way of course).

OMG.. I'm ashamed to answer, but i remember when i was in grade 8, I was into the backstreet boys, hanson, nsync and the spice girls. A little while ago, I stumbled upon this MV and promptly went *O*. I especially like one of the comments: "The reason my uncle, who usually can't remember actors, remembered him is because it was the first time he had found a male lead who was prettier than most of the accompanying actresses." What I like about Chinese animanga fora more than English ones: people don't bitch. When I go onto Jojo or Baidu, everyone talks about how Oda has never failed them and that he'll always surprise them, and there are shitloads of essays and threads devoted to characters competing for the highest number of posts. When I go to AP, all people do is bitch about some failing or other in OP and how Oda is getting worse and worse as OP goes on...which makes me wonder again about the difference in Western and Eastern sensibilities.

What I like about C-dramas: a fixed length so quality doesn't decline from season to season, one to two episodes are broadcast every day, and re-runs of the previous day's episode(s) are broadcast during the day. *O*
