There's no sense in going through life miserable.
What is the significance of your username?: It means "to tear out" in Latin. There's no particular significance in it, I just wanted a Latin username.

Are you mature or immature? It depends on the situation. I'd like to think that my maturity level fluctuates to fit the situation, but I'm probably wildly inappropriately immature at the worst of times. But I'm not going to crack jokes when I've just learned someone's mom got hit by a car or something.
Are you impulsive or cautious? I'm pretty impulsive, which can cause problems sometimes. I like to go with my gut. Thinking stuff over doesn't really ever lead to good results with me, because I'll change my mind numerous times before finally being forced to decide on something.

If I consider you above myself, like a parent or a professor, then I'll tone it down, but if you're a peer I don't really hold anything back. What is the significance of your username?: Haha, it's actually quite a long story. Well, "Kitty" because it's my nickname within my family. "Catline" because... well, it's sorta mean, but I'll write it anyways. This one guy at my school like anime too, and he had this folder with Naruto and anime pictures on it. I said I liked it, and then he wouldn't leave me alone (sort of like, "Oh, hey, look another anime fan!"). Then my friends (thinking I liked him or something) pressured him to ask me out. So he did... on a piece of paper. And instead of "Caitlin" he wrote "Catline". DX It stuck with my friends, and since I'm older now (i.e. no longer a "Kitty") I've kept it because of the "cat" in it.

What are your strengths? I have a good sense of humor and generally my friends enjoy being around me, at least when I'm in a good/upbeat mood.
What are your weaknesses? Very quiet, very shy. I'm a bit of a loner, since I have a hard time talking to people and expressing my thoughts. I have commitment issues, and I can't dwell on one thing for two long. I'm lazy, I procrastinate, the whole deal. I guess I can be kind for the most part, but whenever I am, people walk all over me. I'm selfish, fickle, and I'm very indecisive. My relationships are up and down because I get bored with people quickly. I'm easily embarrassed, and I say a lot of things I don't mean. I have invisible walls up most of the time; I find it hard to open up to people, and I'm always afraid I'll make a fool of myself. Also, I've got a bit of a short fuse, and I get frustrated/impatient in most situations.

What is the significance of your username? - ‘Hazardous Proxy’ is a shortening of ‘Hazardous Proximity,’ which means dangerously close, BACK UP. It’s a pair of words I found while reading a book and I just liked the way they sounded when placed together. I couldn’t care less about the meaning. I like the way it flows off the tongue.

Are you mature or immature? - That is dependent on the situation, but normally I’m pretty reasonable. On the other hand, if I think someone is being idiotic, I’ll go tell them off and act mature, and then if someone tries to tell me the same thing then I’ll wail and whine to be contrary. Or hypocritical, if you prefer.

Are you impulsive or cautious? - Impulsive. Highly. There is hardly ever a shred of logic behind my behavior besides ‘but I wanted to!’ And normally that ends badly.

What are your strengths? - I’m stubborn to a fault and able to win most verbal fights I get in to, even if I’m lying through my teeth by the end of it to prove my point. Hey, if the other guy isn’t smart enough to tell I’m making things up, he isn’t smart enough to deserve to win. I know a bit about everything, since I read about so many different things. I am very patient, I can work without much sleep, and I adapt well to new situations and environments (My parents have moved through three states so far, I think I’ve proven I’m capable of letting go and starting over without much fuss).

What are your weaknesses? - I am not, by any means, good at meeting new people. I just don’t make connections. It takes me a while to get to know a person, and even longer to decide that yes, we really are friends, this might last. I’m not very cooperative, I don’t like compromising, and I get real hostile if you show me up or think you’re better than me, even if you have a perfect good reason and really are better.

What do you like best about yourself? - I like that other people don’t affect me much. I like that I’m not easily influenced. It’s one strong thing about me – my opinions are my own.

What are your goals or aims in life? - I want to travel all across Europe. England, Germany, Italy. Then China. Then India. I want to see Vegas, Marti Gras, NYC, and all the legendary places people talk about. I want to have my home someplace in some other country to come home to, but I want to always travel often. I want to die young. I couldn’t really care if I pick up a family along the way or not; it isn’t very high on my To-Do List.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? - I’d like to be friendlier; I wish I could be more of an easily-likable person.

If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be? - Suburban living and that damned rut most of America has gotten in to, with the stupid, robotic, mild-mannered jobs. The world desperately needs more variety.

If you had one day left to live, what would you do? - Take the car and go downtown with a friend. Taste as many alcoholic things as I can get. Blow all my money on any and everything that catches my eye. Climb onto the roof of a building where no one can see me and there is no clock; spend my last minutes looking at the stars.

Tell us three random things about yourself. - There’s this genetic trait in my Mother’s side of the family that gives you pale skin and dark shadows under your eyes. In other words, zombie. My Father is dark-complexioned (Indian-dark. Red-skinned dark.) and meaty. Family reunions are almost comical when you look at the contrast.

I like drinking the liquid they preserve pickled okra in. Its sour and it burns and the seeds left behind are crunchy.

When I was seven I ran over a huge piece of shrapnel someone threw in our yard and cut my toes almost to the bone. To this day I still loath shoes enough to run over gravel and broken glass barefoot, but I haven’t been cut again.

What is your favorite food? - Chicken Quesadillas from Taco Bell, or baked salmon from Ryans.

Who is your favorite Naruto character? - I like Neji. The whole ‘oppressed, trapped, and put-upon’ thing is kinda adorable, then Naruto beat the angsty revenge out of him and now he’s just…passive. Still chained, still going to have his brains fried one day, but perfectly happy in the meanwhile. Plus, the curry thing is just priceless – he’d be so funny to take drinking.

Who is your most admired Naruto character? Why? - I’d say Kisame. He’s practically the only one I can think of without some catch to him. He has no qualms about killing, he follows orders without letting his emotions get in the way, if he grieves at all he doesn’t show it, and damn it, if someone is running his country wrong he will not hesitate to try to assassinate the stupid bastard. Three cheers for the Mist Swordsmen! Kisame is the perfect ninja.

Don’t forget to cauterized the legs so they don’t bleed to death before you get to the head, that’d be letting them off easy.

Sure, I’m a prick without morals and a fetish for screams, but if you don’t make me mad I don’t have a reason to hurt you.
