Depending on which account one considers most accurate, it’s been argued Patanjali wrote the Yoga Sutra as a response to Siddharta Gautama's philosophy of Buddhism. The latter is a deviation from the Samkhya philosophy, the oldest Hindu orthodox religion derived from the Indo-Iranian Vedic civilization; the former, a clarification of it. Before Buddhism spread to China Daoism of Laozi was in every way similar to the Samkhya philosophy save a few minor details in meditative practice, which they adapted from Mongolian shamans. Tibetan Buddhists incorporated Mongolian shamanism into their edicts as well. Suffice it to say these three primary Eastern monoliths of thought differ in only mild ways. They may label their meditative states of consciousness by numerous names, but each state of consciousness is the same, with the exception of Nirvana. The most descript among the philosophies is the Samkhya as expounded by Patanjali. As such I’ll use its linguistic variants; and hopefully successfully show how dualistic Monotheistic religions beginning with Zoroastrianism, borrowed, perhaps for solely political reasons, from the Samkhya. The premise is that there is a superimposition of two distinct, separate and absolute eternities: Consciousness and Matter; Purusha and Prakriti respectively. Matter through the three Gunas Sattva, Rajas and Tamas, comprise the perceived physical Universe. Matter by Western esotericism is Soul. Tamas is life existing without spiritual contemplation; Rajas is the origination of emotional afflictions; Sattva is source of mental afflictions; and Matter is central to the physiological, and not the spiritual, condition. The stages of contemplation are really few in classification. At first one contemplates in the stages of Samprajnata Samadhi, which is the harmonization and negation of emotional and mental afflictions in one’s present incarnation [klesha-vrtti and citta-vrtti]. The result is realization of Soul, the symbolic Christ. By Samyama eventually one realizes the Oversoul, as detailed by Ralph Waldo Emerson; or Asamprajnata Samadhi. Here is where Western civilization’s orthodoxy ends. If Samyama is adhered to within Asamprajnata Samadhi a phenomenon takes places that evidences through an onslaught of memories of the æons of incarnations one’s had. The realizing such brings to the surface a terrestrial individuality that is at once superior to and also responsible for numerous incarnations. The Iranian Sufis call this the Pure Inner Man, or Phos. In Judæic religios it’s called I AM, or Eheieh. By modern occultic convention due to the fusion of solely Western religions and philosophies falsely label the experience and the state as The Holy Guardian Angel. There are two states of consciousness that preside over Phos; that if not realized continues the cycle of reincarnation. Much fear has been propagated, starting with the certain sects of Jewish orthodoxy adopting Babylonian pagan pantheonism, of the passage that integrates Phos with omnipresent and omniscient consciousness. They’ld have you believe that extinction of the spiritual identity is only found beyond Asamprajnata Samahdi. With the New Testament of the Bible only pointing to Samprajnata Samadhi for those not privy to Samyama or the symbolic meaning of the Crucifixion, Islam was founded not in a way dissimilar than that of Patanjali expanded the Samkhya philosophy. Sufism treats Gnostic and Eastern philosophies fairly. The passage Kabbalists call Da’at; Sufis call the Black Light, or nir-e siyah; Eastern philosophies call Void and the Egyptians call the Abyss is the sole cohesive force that unites two eternal infinities. As Phos the experience is wholly narcissistic and linear. One may feel as if connected to the entire Universe but it is in no way different in perspective than if we were to assume that realization in our physical forms without meditation. By Samyama and after the passage through the Abyss one realizes that they are the very strata that created Matter. However in Dharma Megha Samadhi Matter isn’t entirely extracted from Consciousness. By Samyama Nirivikalpa Samadhi shows Truth in eternal omnipresent reality in all time-frame dimensions and omniscience: The Ancient of Most Ancient Teachers. If Nirvikalpa Samadhi isn’t realized in one incarnation reincarnating is inevitable, and one begins, if they are lucky to begin again, from the very first step on the path of spiritual freedom. The Western Truth of raping Matter and Hearts of Knowledge is a lie and called siddhi indulgence to a Raja Yogi. Siddharta Gautama called the state beyond Nirvikalpa Samadhi Nirvana. Others call it God. Everyone sane calls it spiritual extinction. Tell me: How do governments benefit by you not realizing your utmost spiritual potential? Every man, woman and child can be free and free from being governed. That’s the threat. That’s where your programmed fear of loss of individual free-will and economic concerns originate; that, and being manipulated by your peers not to realize your supreme and sovereign existence because they are too cowardly, or ignorant in their own studies, to realize it in themselves. What of Magick in the highest planes? Do you not think if realizing that one IS the strata that created Matter one can't mold Matter to one's Will? |
