Air Gear Fanfiction Archive

SMASH! (Sydney Manga and Anime Show) is a convention by fans for fans. We have a really strong focus on creativity with many cosplay and artist events, but we’re also working on including writers too. As such, we’d love to have as many writers as possible enter the competition.

For all who’d like to see their favourite character bizarrely transformed, some unusual romantic interests or that scene you’re sure is missing from canon…

SMASH! is running a fanfiction competition for those interested in taking a bit of creative license to canon (or possibly throwing it right out the window).

Entries will be judged by a panel of reputable fanfiction authors, chosen for their skills and knowledge of a broad range of fandoms.

To be in on the action, have a look at the fandom list (you’re sure to know at least one of them), and pick one of our prompts to use as broadly as you like to write your fanfic. The skies the limits for what you choose to write (any scene, any pairing), but all fanfics must be rated G or PG. The word length of fics is recommended to be between 1000 to 2000 words, but this is a recommendation, not a hard limit.

Unfortunately prizes will only be awarded to entrants from Australia or New Zealand, but others are welcome to enter and receive feedback from our judges.

Hey!I'm totally new here at Livejournal! *waves* I  want to post a fic on this comm but I'm having trouble with lj-cut...I'm using the rich text editor and so to cut  I highlight all the text I want to lj-cut,I press the lj-cut button,the text gets surrounded by the shaded box but when I click "save" only perhaps a paragraph or so gets cut!!What am I doing wrong? Can someone please help!I read the FAQ and everything , but nothing works. I would really appreciate the help. In return I promise to write a fanfic for Air Gear with a pairing of your choice!Please!!! (you can check out the fic I already wrote on my page if you want to judge if my writing is good enough!:P:P)

Note: X-posted like a good monkey to airgear_fic and spitfirexkazu. Oh this takes place when Ikki is staying at Kazu's house with the rest of the team. Also there will probably be a sequel to this drabble from Spitfire's point of view.
Summary: Ikki almost burned his house down and while taking shelter in the rain Kazu thinks about how even in the middle of something so awful, Ikki's still the one everyone turned to.  And Kazu is left trying to fight through the shock to keep up with them all.  But when it's raining, he supposed, no one can tell when you're crying.  Of course it helps, that no one's watching you.

Heya! New here, I only finished the anime this Saturday(yep, a marathon run...my eyes are like: @_@ at the moment. ^^;)
