Instant ROCS concert, Friday the 13th of October
ROCS is participating in a "Friday the 13th" concert next month (a fortnight today). As there will be time for only one rehearsal after the upcoming MUCS concert tomorrow week, we will only be able to prepare one or two short, fun items:

1) Dæmon irrepit Callidus by Orbán.

This was sung at Melbourne IV last January and was probably one of the most popular pieces. (It was also adapted to other words in tribute of Andrew "F" Wailes for the MUCS revue item!) So anyone who was at Melbourne IV is most welcome to help us out, not least to refresh your memory of the music - and we will also try to hold the rehearsal on a date to suit most of the MUCS/MonUCS crowd.

2) The piece previously known as "I must destroy the space whale" by tigerdenbodu - this isn't exactly "Friday 13th" themed, but it's easy, very catchy, and hopefully we'll have the RMIT Music stage band to give us instrumental backing :-)

We might also do some instant Carmina Burana. I don't have exact times for rehearsal yet - but the concert is going to be in the evening (7.30 pm or so) at Kaleide Theatre, RMIT city campus. If you can make it, leave a reply here or with phi1ip :)
