just found this site which is totally awesome and figured i'd join

I'm a 27 year old moviefreak and I've been a fan of older actors since I was little kid and here's my list :)

1. Harrison Ford (who's tied with Christopher Reeve as my greatest hero)
2. Sean Connery (what can you say about him ;))
3. William Petersen (i'm so gonna cry when he leaves C.S.I. :()
4. Hugh Laurie (just click my lj to see how much i love this guy ;))
5. Sam Neill (thanks to seeing The Hunt For Red October @ 9 for him)
6. Paul Newman (OMG those eyes)
7. Adam Baldwin (Firefly and Serenity baby)
8. David Morse (a great actor who i think doesn't get enough recognition)
9. Gary Oldman (forget the Harry Potter's and Batman's watch Bram Stoker's Dracula)
10. Daniel Craig (his and Connery's protrail(sp?) of James Bond are the best ever)

This latest one is due to PBS showing Lewis so naturally I had to watch all the Morse's Kevin Whately did and that got me to fancying John Thaw as well.

Who watched Shark last night?!

First of all: NOOOO. I can't believe they're cancelling it. Can
someone confirm this as being true/false? Sorry for the xp, but I
gotta know if it's true.

Secondly: That band Castaneda that was on last night was so good! I
found their myspace: http://www.myspace.com/castanedaband ... the song they played on the show was called "Pixels".

Anyway, if someone could please verify if Shark getting cancelled is
true or not, please advise. And sorry again for the XP.

Imagine my utter joy at stumbling upon this community- have forever felt like a weirdo for fancying men who are well into their fifties and edging into their sixties. I feel right at home here-

My list would be: Bill Nighy, naturally, Hugh Laurie and I also have a fixation on Stephen Rea, if anyone understands that at all.
But my main obssession is James Woods. I jusr adore him. Haven't actually ever told anyone that before *feels liberated*

My name is Belinda I'm seventeen years old and a junior in high school.
I found this group by chance and I thought it would be interesting to see other people's views.
Before anyone accuses me of being a 'poser' I will give a little information about myself for purposes of wanting to be a member. No I dont have a boyfriend or a girlfriend that is just a few years older then me. I lost my virginity when I was fourteen to a man that was thirty-five. I know a thing or two about relationships with older men.
I believe chidlren are capable of persuing loving wholesome relationships with adults, but society ruins it by getting in the way. Some adults abuse their authority over a child and mark the child for life, while children are hustlers even in youth and take down an adult.
The truth is, in today's society it will never be accepted, of course years ago interracial marriage was banned now it's wrong if you try to stop it and soon gay marriage will be legal.
You never know.
