AboutThis is a community for people whose lives are affected by age-gap relationships. This is meant to be a community to provide support and understanding for each other in relationships that are sometimes misunderstood by the general public. Please respect others in your posts and do not be overly graphic. There are plenty of other places to argue, this is not such a place. We welcome discussions of all kinds of relationships (inter-racial, same-gender, polyamorous, and any other safe, sane and consensual relationship between adults.) While we recognize that what constitutes maturity is often debated, this community does not condone relationships between adults and those below the age of consent in the jurisdiction where they reside. This community is NOT a dating scene or service.

I think that all relationships have "gaps" that you have to bridge the best you can. All you can do is communicate... openly and with empathy until you get to the point where you know if there is enough common ground to allow you two to get past the tough stuff.

We have very little drama here, but when it happens, here is how it is dealt with. If a person makes an inappropriate comment, we will post a polite warning and give the person a chance to explain, calm down, etc. If comments continue in an inappropriate manner, we will delete the comments. If the problem still persists, we will ban the user. We have only ever had to ban one person and we'd like to keep that number low. We do not like to censor opinions because that's what keeps this community productive, but please keep in mind that we hold ourselves to a high standard of civility here and that standard will be enforced.
