AboutWelcome, Stephen King fans! If you are looking for a community to post and share fan-made works inspired by or related to any of the works of Stephen King, you are in the right place. Everyone is welcome, but we ask that you abide by a few simple rules.
1.) Be respectful. This is the most important one. Everything fannish is welcome here, from G to NC-17, including slash, and if something doesn't float your boat, kindly move on. Flaming will not be tolerated.
2.) Be on topic. Things that are welcome here: fanfiction, fanart, fan videos, graphics, icons, paintings, playlisting, photos of your King-related tattoos, and anything of that nature. (Cross-overs are welcome, as long as they have at least some relevance to one of King's works.) Please refrain from posting just to state your opinion on a particular book or movie; there are many fine anything-goes and meta communities in existence already (try

stephenking or the_dark_tower_). Please do not post player requests for RPG communities. Please do not pimp your community without first asking, or post introductions. Off-topic posts will first be warned, then removed. 3.) Label your work & use an LJ-cut. Lots of people read from their work computers (even when they shouldn't be) and no one wants to have to scroll past potentially NC-17 things in order to get their morning LJ fix. We don't particularly care about sticking to one format so long as you have all the information needed above the cut, but in case you want a guide, here's an example:
Title: Type/Name of work (example: FIC: Roland's Terrible, Horrible, No-Good, Very Bad Day)
Author/Creator: Your name goes here!
Rating: Either G, PG, PG-13, R, or NC-17.
Inspired by: Stephen King has written A LOT of books. Let us know which one you're working from.
Pairing: If there is one.

The one other thing that we ask is that you include what TYPE of work you are posting (i.e. fanfic, fanart, video, etc.) in your subject header. The mods will be memorying everything and having a nice neat subject will help with that. It's in your best interest, so please help us out!
