Well, my laptop is infected with adware. Or maybe it's a virus, I'm not quite sure yet. I don't have money to take it in Best Buy and fix it, so my sister is going to see what she can do on her end. Hopefully my laptop can be restored to the way it was. It's probably the only laptop I'll ever have in my life. Seriously.

so it has een MONTHS since i've pressed that little "post an entry" link up there.
i dread livejournal nowadays. i don't even really know why. it makes me nervous or something--- i don't even read my friends page that often. i guess i'm becoming a recluse.
right now i'm listening to the series of unfortunate events sountrack because i forgot how BEAUTIFUL it is. it is so fucking beautiful and makes me cry.
i don;t even know what to say about london or this summer except that it all happened too quickly... although when i think back to when school ended and when tony was going to feild training it seems like forever ago.
i went to london with nearly no expectations. i just wanted to go. i just wanted to be there. and therefore all my expectations were met and exceeded. i really never thought i'd be at stonehenge, or see about half of the harry potter stars a premiere that wasn't for harry potter, or stand with one foot in the western hemisphere and one in the east. i met great people and i missed it as soon as i got back. i am very glad i did it.
life is so stressful right now. attempting to work my little butt off at that job which every day i realize i have grown out of, but i need the small amount of money it does give me. started my internship for fall semester early, because they wanted me to. paying 14$ for the train and 4$ for the subway and not getting paid to be there... awesome. i guess it is an "english" job for a theatre/acting subject... so i should be happy. I just have a feeling that Show Business Weekly is going to be anti-climactic and more hassle than its worth. but everyone knows how much I LOVE working... especially when i'm not getting paid for it. and especially when i haven't and will not have a day off for over 2 weeks straight.
things with Tony and I are very good, even thought our schedules allowed us to see each other for about 5% of the summer. of course i dread going back to school for the whole not seeing him for 6 days out of every week thing...
but this will be the last year of our routine.
come next year, everything will change.
have i ever mentioned that i hate change?
hopefully there will be florida in january with the S's and either LeakyCon or Azkatraz next summer. I'm into the traveling thing... too bad i am broke.
i may update this more or i may go into an even deeper hibernation once school starts. god knows i will be busy.

is anyone good at making journals? because quite honestly, i am horrible. i am willing to give someone my password to my journal if you are willing to make it nice.
i just thought that it is about time i just start over, so i can document my university happenings. new life, new journal.. y'know?

Hiiiii.
I felt i'd do a short update to say how my summers going.
I now have two jobs.
I work as an LNA at Bellamy Fields, i'm still training but I love it,
I still work at Rite Aid, but not as much a week.
I just got back from WI ( two weeks of it )with Mattt & my family. It was a really good trip, I got to see my cousins,& aunts and uncles, even my godparents from Georgia!
There we went to.
Niagra Falls.
Dirt Races
Green Bay Packer Football Game.
Bon Fire at Cousins
Movies
and lots of driving.
20 hour drive.
&& i'm glad because my family or I didnt scare Matt away =]
College at Great Bay in the fall,
I'm taking
A&P
Math
Human Growth and Development
American Sign Laungage.
and Matt promised to help me with math. [thankgodforthat.]
Matt went to see PWTs. with me earlier in July, So in October I am going with him to see Rise Against.
Which i'm really excited for actually. =]
&& That was summer for me.
besides the normal.
bike rides & fireworks.

I am a disaster with dark nail polish!
I used Orly Witch's Blue, which looked to me like something similar to Essie's Aruba Blue, which I used to wear and love. I tried doing my own nails (with inflation esp gas prices and my mounting credit card bills I realized I am living way beyond my means, so I've been trying to save up... it's been about 2 weeks, so far so good)... IT'S A DISASTER! It's like a little kid did my nails. My left hand doesn't look as bad 'coz I was using my right hand and I was able to clean up the mess but my right hand would probably be a funny story to tell.
I did my right hand 3x too!
WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHh
How does one learn how to put nail polish on herself using her non-dominant hand?!?!

After lunch, I hit up the local thrift store, where everything is dirt cheap. For a grand total of 75 cents, I bought the following:
--a small gray tshirt, from the Naval Academy, that says "Navy Lacrosse" across the front. It looks brand new. It's currently in the washer, so maybe I'll wear it tomorrow after work.
--a cookbook, with recipes from Casablanca. I saw an Urban Outfitters price tag on it.
--a Calvin and Hobbes book (I could read comics all day)
--vintage salt & pepper shakers, corelle/corningware, Spice o' Life pattern (!)
I'm actually building a collection of vintage salt & pepper shakers, so that was perfect.

I changed my lj layout again...I can't seem to stick with just one and be satisfy...I guess I get bored easily! This one is pretty plain and simple though, I think that's what I need...so I can be more organized! ha ha. Like it really will change the way I blog this shit -- which is never.
Well, my brother and dad are on their way to Vietnam right now. They left early this morning, my mom and I went with them to Boston's airport around 3:30am and I didn't get back til about 5:40am. I haven't pulled an all-nighter in a long time so that was kind of HARSH. But no worries, I didn't have to work til 12:45 today haha. Annddd I know how to drive to and back from Boston's airport now so that's good for future reference (basically just stay on 93N!) I love airports...I think they're one of the coolest places you can go to because you can see all sort of people coming and going and you always wonder where they are about to go or where they're coming back from. I love it.
However, the sad new is, my grandpa passed away this past sunday. ='( If there's one thing I could tell everyone it would be to cherish your grandparents!!! Even though most of my life was spent a whole half of the world away, this man has always and forever will be in my heart. I know he's in a better place, having spent the last 10 years in bed basically in a coma, so that is really the most soothing thing to me right now. I think the best thing of all is that now I will have him (as well as my other grandparents) watching over me. I only have one grandparent left...my dear grandmother (dad's side)! I really hope that I get to see her again soon, you know, before it's too late. I think I am just sad that death arrives for everyone. I know it's the way of life and it's a natural and beautiful thing, just as much as birth is, but in a way it's a sad thing because no longer will you have the physical connection with that person. I want my grandpa back! Or at least I wish I could be there for the funeral. Ok this is making me want to cry. :(
It's just me and the momma for the next two weeks...because I go back to Albany on the 28th. Summer has past by way too quick, wtf? I survived another summer of retail work, relieving some of those stress can be thanked to some retail therapy, hah. Sometimes I feel guilty for buying some of the stuff, but when I really think about it everything I bought...I really liked!!! No, seriously. And I didn't spend all that much if I add it all up (which I did,) most of my money went to gas! So you know what? I don't feel bad! Forget that guilty conscience, I worked for the money so I make the money, money don't make me and it sure don't matter by the difference of a few hundreds of my happy finds. :] Some of the stuff I had to get, like my 90 fucking dollars driver's license, & eating out, so wat'ev... life goes on. Plus, once I get back to school I'll have to get back on the college student budget so it's better to enjoy a little bit of my labor now.
I've realized I am sitting here reasoning all of this out only to make myself better, and it did, so yeah.

OMG!
Today was a weird day!
In the morning Mike called me to tell me that on the way to work his car broke down and that he needed a ride to work. So, I started heading towards him when... My car starts making a horrible noise. Turns out that my power steering belt was broken and flapping all around the place. Mike fixed my car and mine. Yay! But, it was just weird!
Anyways, I'm getting a new bed and kinda remodel my room. I've been going through my stuff and I found all this crap that I've never used. I started putting some of it up on ebay.
But would anyone on my f-list be interested in any of my x file stuff. I know that it doesn't sell on ebay and instead of recycling a lot of I would much rather give it away. I have a BUNCH of magazines I'll get a lot of together and take a pic.
