Except that I don't get why there isn't one good theater that is going to have a midnight showing?? Are they all just expecting to be burnt out by The Dark Knight?

it's kind of beautiful to watch a fandom explode with thousands of instant nosebleeds all around the world XD like fireworks!
Okay, so the story goes, Jae is staring at his phone and is missing Diane *insert picture of Diane onto haptic phone screen* and the girl is some b*tch who is trying to steal him but then the magic haptic phone makes her disappear but Jae is still waiting for Diane to come save him (and his sexy ass XDDDD) so he starts to cry. And then after the CF is over Diane comes to save him and they run away and get eloped. The end xDDDD AWESOME YES? *whacked*
Half the reason I am up is because some idiot decided to drive his truck at high speed into two parked cars, onto the sidewalk and into the fence of a house a few houses down for me. Then... get this... he tried to back up into the street to try and get away.
Charlie and I heard the crash and then the continuous burning of rubber and banging. We went out pretty quickly and my neighbor told me what was going on and I could see the back of the truck perpendicular to the street at an angle facing the wrong way, trying to get out.
Other people came out and started yelling at him and then a bunch of guys also came over and really scared the driver and made him stop. The cops came pretty quickly too.
All of the neighbors were out. It was insane. My neighbors fence was pushed all the way down, the two parked cars were pushed onto the sidewalk and were perpendicular to the street. The windows were blown out, tires were blown out, they were just dented all over the place, and one of them hit a tree, which of course was undamaged and still standing... thank god. The truck had its bumper and light all twisted, and I think the axel was partially collapsed or something because the policeman had a really hard time driving it down the street to get it out of the way.
Thank god no one was walking on the sidewalk, and thank god that our houses have a front yard and porch that is elevated so the car couldn't go up.
This is the second time something like this has happend, and the first time it happened it was one house away! Unbelievable. The cops took the guy away in handcuffs. What an idiot. Seriously. I don't know if he was drunk or just randomly lost control of the car, I have no idea.
So now I'm still wired and it's been a couple of hours. I guess I'll try to go to sleep somehow.

First of all I made the plunge and will be going to Las Vegas to visit both the city and Creation's Star Trek Convention that is held there every year. It's pretty much their biggest con all year. I'm excited. :)
I also randomly decided that since I'm going I might as well enter their video contest. Of course I have nothing new, so I had to make something to enter. Plus the deadline is July 20th. Go figure. It's a Sunday. Does that make sense to anyone?
Well I pondered what to do. I've had a couple of ideas in my head, but haven't actually made videos for them. I eventually decided to try the one that would likely be less complicated and serious.
Well I have to say that I'm pretty surprised at myself. I started the video on Monday night and finished it this afternoon, editing off and on, mostly in the evenings except for Tuesday where I edited off and on throughout the day and evening. Prior to editing I had to install all the software ect. Premiere Pro is cool, but I don't think it likes Vista very much. Still even when it craps out it is stil better than Premiere 6. I had most of the footage on the computer already, so at least I didn't have to deal with that.
Still though... 4 days??? I am the slowest fanvid maker on the planet and I managed to get something that is presentable in 4 days? Granted it isn't the most compex video in the world, but I usually tend to get stuck for ages. I think having a relatively fast program helped even if it crashed a lot. When you cut down on render time it has to make a difference.
So I mailed out the video to Creation overnight express mail this afternoon. LOL. Yeah, I paid extra to send it because as of last night I had decided that I probably stood an OK chance at winning so I couldn't just not enter this competition, expecially when I was so close to being done.
So, I guess soon I will be adding a link to my version of "Miss Independent" by Kelly Clarkson. LOL. It's an Enterprise T'pol and Trip video adn for the most part it's supposed to be fun. :) And I never thought I'd make another one of those after my last one. Never say never, I guess. ;)
