| About: |  This community is set up to feature Theme Weeks, which some of us started some time ago. The links for the earlier themes can be found here. Also check Memories for individual links. Warnings: This is a pro-slash journal, but we will accept het and femme-slash with appropriate warnings if this is your thing. Please note the rules before posting. It is an NC-17 community, and we assume you are here because you are over 17. If you are not, please leave now. *No responsibility taken by the mods if you are under 18 and see something upsetting or offensive. You have been warned.* How Theme Weeks work: The mods (maintainers) take turns running a theme week, with contributions accepted from all members. Basically, there will be a month's lead up to the main event. At the beginning of the month (or the end of the last theme), we'll announce the new theme, which will generally be active in the last week of that month (although the dates vary a little, they will be given as soon as possible). Reminders will be given semi-weekly. Finally, the theme week will be run for the seven days concerned. Please wait until the hostess opens posting for the week before adding your post/s. Hostesses normally open as soon as they can on the Monday. Posting closes at midnight PST on the Sunday of the week in question. You may post as many items as you have - ideally spread them out over the week if you can! The lead-up time is to give you a chance to get whatever you want found, written or otherwise organised. You post ONLY in the week of that theme, please. Previously, theme weeks have featured such things as: icons, picspams, fics, fic recs, challenges, polls, movie recs, music. If you have other ideas, please e-mail ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} haldoor: haldoor42 at yahoo.com.au and we can let you know if this is something we agree with! Regarding the Themes themselves: These are likely to be either body parts (eg neckslash, handporn), items (eg weapons, tattoos), places (eg outdoors, parties), states (eg wet, clean), or styles (eg crack!fic). If you have ideas for other themes, again, please e-mail haldoor who will discuss with the other mods and get back to you.There will not be theme weeks featuring: - particular actors/characters - particular fandoms - particular sexual activities This doesn't mean you can't feature your favourites of the above in any theme, all it means is that you will not see "Harry Sinclair Week", "Vigorli Week", "LOTR Week" or "Rimming Week". The main reasoning here is that these are covered elsewhere in many cases, and for the latter, we're thinking it must be picspammable. (Yes, we know some of you probably do have pics of rimming, but this has limited appeal, and no matter how you look at it, it's not what we're trying to do here. If you're after that, there are other places to find it, thanks). On the other hand, "tongue porn" would be allowed, because you can picture tongues without them being in specific sexual situations. Make sense? We do allow: - any and all fandoms - any and all fandom cross-overs - any and all adult pairings If that needs explaining... please e-mail the mods. *sigh* ...And Finally: The Rules - Be polite! No flaming. If you don't like something, leave. - Almost anything is allowed, but please put warnings on anything you wouldn't want someone's uptight grandmother to see! - Please put anything that is not worksafe or that is large behind a cut. - All fics should go behind a cut with the appropriate warnings visible this side. - Minimum age for featured actors/characters is 16. Ie: If the actor is 18 and the character 15, please only feature the actor, unless it's a future fic about the character once they're over 16. - No bestiality, although shapeshifters in human form are allowed! -The mods are not interested in water sports, non-con (although con-non-con is okay) or human/muppet crossovers (!), but if you must post these things, please ensure that explicit warnings are given - no making us keel over in shock! - please tag all entries with the name and dates of the theme week you're working in (for easier location later). - please do not post pictures of personal friends or family. While you may be very proud of them and they are happy to have their picture here, please remember this is an open community and you or they may be unhappy later. Also, some members may be a little uncomfortable about this. No disrespect to anyone intended, but such posts will probably be deleted without further warning. I think that about covers it, although we reserve the right to add or change the rules should it become necessary.
