Yeah, so still hooked on The Dark Knight. My love for Heath's Joker overshadowed my detest for Christian Bale as Batman/Bruce Wayne, haw haw. I hate it when people start fighting over who's the best Joker because you can't really compare all of them; they all have their own unique flavor to the character.

Over the past few days, I've been reciting some of The Joker's lines from TDK. -Nearly- there at perfecting the voice. As you can tell... I have a LOT of free time on my hands e_e

I've been reading some TDK fanfic too. Joker-centric, obviously, and also Joker/Rachel with some Joker/OCs. I haven't found any -good- J/OC fanfiction yet and most of the other Joker fanfiction is either slash or with Harley Quinn (or an OC with the name Harley Quinn tacked onto it). Meh.. The Joker and Harley had never been my cup of tea.

So, in the spirit of sulking, I'm taking myself off to see The Dark Knight again at 4.30. I'm the best date ever. (Not to mention I'm breaking in these boots for my cousin's wedding, and let me tell you, SEX ON HEELS, MAN. So, yes, I'm indeed dating myself. I'm a cheap date, by the way.) I also don't feel so bad when I doze off at a certain point towards the end of the movie. Brilliant, brilliant film, but there's a nice napping spot towards the end.

Um. What else. The Batman animated series is BRILLIANT? Sure, Bruce isn't Kevin Conroy, but the show is incredibly enjoyable! There are Crisis Core Play Arts? The TR2N (Tron 2, obviously!) trailer was astonishing and made of internet awesome?

Ahem. The point of the post was to quickly ask my university fellows what courses they ended up taking! (I was just curious as to whether I'd see anyone in Digital Compositing tomorrow!) My three are Digital Comp, Screen Distribution and I'm rehashing bloody Animation Timing and Character from first year on Tuesdays, because I stuffed it up the first time around. Phooey. I'm going to be a third-year with a bunch of ickle firsties! (60% of which will STILL be older than me, I bloody bet you.)

At any rate, shall finish my tea and prance off to brush my teeth. Bugger. I just spilt tea down my chin. I'm a vampire that drinks tea.

ETA: Cool people buy popcorn and coke at the cinemas. I'm taking water and almonds. OH, I LONG FOR SOME COOL-CRED.

My Kansai forms are sitting my immediate left. I have a lot to fill out, but reading through them... I'll be cliché (as usual) and say that reading through them is like a breath of fresh air. I feel like it's finally just around the corner. I talked to Jill for a long time last night (she's leaving next month for Japan), and I really wish that I'd known in January that I would be so beyond ready for this trip by July. If I had, I would've done everything possible to meet the February deadline for the academic year abroad. I regret that now. But I have less than 6 months before I leave. I have to get all of the preparations taken care of. I'm looking forward to being forced to grow up. I'm finally going on an adventure. I'll be by myself, but it will be such a fucking adventure! At long last.

Tonight, I feel happy. First time in a while. Don't know how long it will last. But I'm not going to question it for once. I'm going to live in the now and just enjoy this feeling until it decides to dissipate. But tonight I feel happy.

Right, so I was cleaning today and the Return of the Joker movie came on and I was like FUCK YEAH NOSTALGIA!

Then the second NARUTO movie came on and I RAEGE'd a little.

Then, while I was cleaning out my sister's room, I found a paycheck for myself from January. L-lolwut. I was wondering why Barnes & Nobles never payed me.


PS Heath Ledger is my favorite Joker. Ever. More than Nicholson. More than Hamill. More than Cesar FABULOKER Romero.
