I previously posted this bit of neck porn,  but  in honor of "John's Neck" week, I thought I'd repost this new and improved version here --in case some of you missed it.  Kind of like recycling - mainly, because it's getting crunch time on finishing my fic for the "Back to Basics" challenge, but I wanted to contribute to this worthy subject -- so enjoy!  Oh, and there's some "pretty" at the end!

I heard it's John Sheppard's Neck Week, and AFAIK that includes the front part, aka

his throat, with some greying chest hair;

the back, stretched, exposing the top of his shoulder girdle (which melagan already linked you to),

and the sweet curve it makes from another angle (scroll down),

or even 180 degrees of skin expanse (scroll up).

Yes! Neck week! Let's just plunge right

In honor of those pictures from Comic Con, the ones we've all seen, of Joe Flanigan in the white linen shirt with the first two buttons undone. I am declaring it

Some of my favourite dialogue has already been mentioned, but there's an abundance of examples I enjoy.

Something I love about Sheppard is his dry humor, especially during moments of imminent peril. I think sometimes it gets overshadowed by McKay's more outrageous brand of wit. Here are three funny lines from his conversation with Michael in "No Man's Land":

These aren't necessarily my all-time favorites from Season Three, but they're the three exchanges I pulled out for our SGA: Johnny Are You Queer discussion that's been taking place around LJ and at various cons.

( I love the fact that John Sheppard seems really interested in the possibility of his male friends getting together :P )

These may be my top three, but it's impossible to tell unless I read every single transcript over again. There was just so much great stuff this season that I'll just say that these are definitely ( three good ones. )

My thoughts on the good doctor and a few nice pics are behind the cut.
Spoilers for Sunday, in case there's someone who hasn't seen that episode.  Oh, and if you haven't heard of the success the "Save Carson Beckett" campaign had, and its implications to Season 4, you might not want to read.  Although, it's a very vague reference.  Just want to make sure everyone is fully warned.

Thank you to everyone for sharing your favorite scenes, it was a very fun way to review S3!

And I'm glad it says "scenes I loved" and not favorites, because then I'd have to sit down and think and it would never end and be all John/Rodney. As it is:

I didn't even try to do Tao of Rodney, okay I tried but since a transcript of the whole thing would be cheating I made myself move on.

Sateda: Searching for a way to trace Ronon, Rodney is lying on his stomach on the floor with his laptop and John plops down next to him like they've done it just like that a million times before

Submersion: Teyla takes Ronon down. Yeah, you know exactly what scene I'm talking about.

No Man's Land: Trapped Ronon and Rodney on the hive ship. Where we find out McKay contributed to the Wraith threat of the planet Earth by downloading porn
