| About: | This community is for adult students. Now I know that some of you may be legal adults, but that's not what exactly we mean. The members of this community are students in college or university that aren't just out of high school. How it is defined is by one of the following 1. You work a full time job (30+hours) a week and go to school at least part time. This job is your means of support, or all of your money goes to support your family, and not for 'spending cash' 2. You are at least out of high school for 3 years or longer and a full time student. 3. You are 23 or older and go to school part time or more. 4. You are a former adult student and don't mind sharing your own stories, experiences, or being support for others. 5. You are working on a post graduate degree (Masters, Doctorate) These are just the basics. This is a group that goes to school and are tired of hearing a bunch of "young'uns" talk about the mall or getting drunk/high. This is for adults serious about their education with fellow adults, not a bunch of "13th graders" that really haven't experienced the real world. Just a note, your moderator is 25 years of age, has been out of high school for 7 years, but currently is unemployed (which is why I'm in school), but I go to school full time at Hesser College in Manchester NH. | |
