AboutWe feel that all believers are God’s adopted children (we would have been natural children had sin not entered - it separated us from Him). We grew up apart from Him and we were inevitably hurt. As a result we learned to be cautious with where we place our love and trust. Then we met God and we eventually placed our salvation in His hands (He then permanently adopted us, YAY!).
We are extremely grateful for our salvation and the many ways that He shows His love for us. But, like an adopted child, we need to learn to trust Him and to love Him in return. It doesn’t just happen automatically because He has adopted us - it’s a lifelong process.
This community has been established so that those of us who are in the learning process can have a place to communicate with others who are also experiencing trials and triumphs in their journey to become closer to Christ. This is a place to ask questions, to share thoughts, struggles, ideas, and insights.
In addition, we would also like those who have not accepted Christ to feel free to join the discussions, and ask any questions they may have. We ask only that the posts entered within this community be honest questions and/or thoughts. We created this to share our faith, and we would appreciate not being asked to defend it. Thank you :^)

Also, if you have any entries that you have added, please don't redirect answers to your personal journal. If you want the community to answer your question, please keep it in the community. :)
Please keep the community promos out of the community. While it's nice to know that there are other communities out there, they have nothing to do with this community. If there is a topic on another community you wish to discuss, that's a different manner (however, please don't revert comments to that particular community; keep the comments in this community.).
We also don't allow those to crosspost into different communities (Unless it's prayer requests.). The thread in question will be deleted.

The rules for that is this:
1) If a user breaks the rule, he/she will be warned in the post, then the post will be deleted.
2) If user ignores warning and posts similar topic, they will receive a temporary ban of 1 week.
3) If, after the 1 week ban, user comes bacn and posts similar topic, they will be permanently banned.
