| About: | Welcome to the first ever "add my journal as a friend" LiveJournal community for the 40 and up age group! This community is just like other "Add Me" communities, except that it is for people of 40 years of age or older (which should go without saying).
You have to be 40 years of age or older to become a MEMBER of this community. We will add folks under 40 if they are close to being 40, though. You can read most of the entries here without joining - however you cannot post in the community without being a member. Please do not attempt to join the community unless your full birthdate is displayed on your LJ info page; If it is not, your request to join will be declined.
There are some rules to this community:
One "add-me" post per month per member.
No posting of derogatory comments or replies.
No "LJ DRAMA". Keep it to yourself.
No links to other sites and no spamming.
All photos larger than 640x480 must be behind an LJ-CUT.
No nudity or profanity unless it is behind an LJ-CUT with a warning of the content.
No promotion of any other communities, other than "over 40" specific communities.
No quizzes, MEMES, jokes, etc.. Only ADD-ME Requests.
Off-topic posts will be deleted without notice or fanfare, and no offense intended.
If you delete your journal for any amount of time (meaning, if we happen to catch it deleted) your membership here will be removed and your add-me post(s) will be deleted.
