Well, not quite, but I sure do try.

I'm Jamie, 19, and music is my life. Like . . . literally. I'm not really a nine to five kind of guy (though, I do slave away in Wal-Mart's photo department in such a way to make ends meet), and my greatest aspiration is to pursue music. I play bass, I write lyrics, and I'm really creative.

What you'll be finding in my journal is a lot of self-reflection, cryptic entries when I'm particularly upset, organising of my thoughts, and random posts about music. My journal may not be the easiest to follow at times due to the years of backstory involved, but I'm more than happy to explain to you what's what, as I love talking about myself.

I love to comment on other peoples' journals if I have an interest in what they're talking about, and my greatest interests lie in music, art, photography, anything remotely scene or emo, depression, and things of a sexual nature. So, if your journal has a lot of that, then I'll be really excited to friend you.

Hey, my name is Sara, I'm not new to livejournal. I'm new to the new journal, but that's really about it.
I'm 25, I'm originally from Washington but moved to Australia 3 years ago when I got married.
I honestly don't think I have that interesting of a life but maybe someone else does?
I suffer quite badly from post natal depression.
I spend a lot of my time on the computer, it helps, a lot.
My son has a global developmental delay, doctors are dumb.
There's no doubt he has autism... but of course we don't know what we're talking about.
My husband and I don't have any support, what so ever.
I rant in my journal, but I try to keep it up beat, I don't care if people comment, but some interaction is nice. I try to do my best with your journal as well.
I'm a toyvoyager freak and a postcrossing freak.

Hello there,

I’m Harbs, 20 y/o. I come from Warwick, England. But most of my year is spent studying Biomedical Science at SGUL in London, my favourite city in the entire world. I used to enjoy traveling abroad but I don’t have as much time for it as I used to. Places I have visited include all over France, Russia and India. I’m planning my next big adventure to wander around Peru in summer 2009.

I love music, some of the styles that I like include electro, rock, dubstep, grime, classical / folk music from around the world (for more detail click my top records of 2007, or my lastfm). I like going to gigs, nightclubs and music festivals. Some of the many bands I’ve seen live include Bloc Party, Muse, Arcade Fire, RHCP, Midlake, Yo La Tengo, Feeder, British Sea Power, The Cribs, Mystery Jets, The Maccabees, Digitalism, Goose, 65daysofstatic, Yndi Halda, The Young Knives, Blood Red Shoes.

I’m looking for more journals to read, particularly people of roughly the same age. I’m not too fussy, I’ll take a look at pretty much anything. But I'm especially interested in posts about books, movies, music, photography, food, poetry, politics and world travel. I try to comment as much as possible. Hey people!! Im Nick 26, from Santa Monica a beach town in Los Angeles.

Im not your typical LJer.. I dont have the obligatory 'fly ass' emo haircut, or the ever snazzy brow/nose/lip ring, or stylin hot topic gear. Im a cool cat but not that fly yet! You'll never EVER see me do the sideways peace sign! I dont ever do this: **waves** **hugs** **woot** **giggles** **pfft** *squee* **rofl dies** or the ever sickening and vile **does the happy dance** (you get the point) or other cheesy shit like that, If you do thats fine, just not my thing. I'm not gonna post a massive ass picture of myself from a weird angle,making a weird face, that'll take up your entire screen on this add me post or my journal, or prove how awesomely "RANDOM" I am.

If you hadn't gathered yet Im a bit of a sarcastic smart ass. I enjoy people with a sense of humor, (that's definitely a must for me!), that don't take themselves too seriously. Life is short people, lighten up, and live a little or a lot!!!

I love music and play many instruments well, but its not my life, though it seems to be everybody's lately. You'll never hear me say, "I listen to everything BUT country". Im not vegan or atheist,I don't like anime, menga or jenga or whatever you call it, I don't jump on the band wagon on whatever cause/trend is trendy at the moment. I dont have lame ass testimonials from my 'LJ friends' validating what an 'amaziiiing, fabulous' person I am. If you do then thats just kind of pathetic. I know all the "cool kids" are "poets" "artists" and "writers" around here, but oh snaps Im not! but still I'm pretty damn interesting, if not more. And lastly Im not trying to save the world.Maybe just the cheerleader.

I surf, I'm a beach bum. I love the ocean I get to see it everyday and Im in it almost as much.

I ski/snow board and I still own a skateboard(s) and can still do 360 kick flips, and still olly off rails,stairs etc.

I'm hooked on the Food network (you thought I was gonna say hooked on phonics, didn't you), But cant stand Rachel Ray,Giada,and Emerril!

I love anything paranormal,hauntings,poltergeists,Ghost stories,vampires,Halloween etc. Ok so Im weird too! Favorite shows Supernatural and Moonlight.

I love to laugh! Stand up comedy and comedy clubs are good times. I dont think Dane cook is funny at all!

I love all kinds of music, I grew up listening to old shool Punk,Ska.Grunge(Ramones,The Clash,The Misfits,Circle Jerks,Social Distortion,Bad Religion,Authority Zero,Reel Big Fish,Sublime,Save Ferris,Less than Jake,Rancid),love reggae and Hip hop, but really i'll listen to everything from Rhianna,Timbaland,Alicia Keys,Kanye west to Carrie Underwood,Rascal Flatts..toThe Doors,Deep Purple,Iron Maiden,Pantera and System of a down, to Taking back sunday. I'll definitely pass on FOB and Panic thanks.

I love guitars!I play them and collect them,(especially the vintage ones). I also play bass, drums,piano and the cello, yeah I said CELLO!

I love horror movies, and 'old hollywood' type films from the 30's,40s and 50s and cheesy teen comdys from the 80s

I'm well versed in pop culture and love to clown on celebrities, and people that think theyre socialites in this town and on LJ lol..as well as douchebags,tools,guidos. Come on now, how could you not clown a douchebag. It would be unamerican not to!

So after selling myself like a cheap slut at an L.A. club/bar...Im looking for fun,interesting journals to read. I am not new to livejournal but this is a new account after a long absence and I am looking for some friends.

There is a lot about me that you will just find out from talking to me. I'm a sort of quiet person with a stressful and sometimes drama-filled life.

I go by many names, mostly Zemo and Zee. I am 18 years old, I have a full time job and will be a full time student in the fall. I live in Iowa, which is boring enough for me. I've been all over the world, I have friends all over the world, and I still love to travel to new places.

I consider myself pansexual, with no specific preference at the moment. I am single and have been since Christmas Eve 2007.

In my journal I will be talking about everything for daily life, my feelings, my opinions, and there will even be picture posts occasionally.

I hope to find some friends with similar interests to mine. Which are of a wide variety so I can connect to anyone with something.

Well, as you may have guessed, my name's Lauren. I'm 27 and I live in Pottstown (about an hour west of Philadelphia.) I've been on LJ off and on for years, and after a hiatus for a couple years, I decided to come back. I'm trying to add some old LJ friends, but also looking for new ones. So, here's a little bit about me......
I was living with my ex boyfriend, but we broke up and I just moved back home with my parents.
I have 2 cats, who are my life.
I drink very heavily. Too heavily, but I'm trying to work on that.
I kind of date around, and may seem promiscuous....it doesn't bother me....so don't be judgmental!
I'm not really sure what I'm doing with my life....I've been floating around since I graduated high school (almost 10 yrs ago). I'll figure it out someday. I'm in no rush. I worked as a Hooter girl for over 8 years. I've worked as a nanny, a stripper, in retail, done promos for a liquor company, waitressed at a couple places........right now I'm bartending at a local watering hole.
I do drugs. I'm not an addict....you won't see me on Intervention anytime soon, but I like to have fun. I like to escape from reality.
I love my family and friends, but at the same time, I can be a loner.
I'm obsessive about my weight, but haven't been inside a gym in years....go figure.
I've been on anti-depressants for years.....but then again, in this day and age who isn't? I'm all over the spectrum. Some days, I'm nice, charming, funny, sweet, and normal....other days, I'm completely unreasonable, illogical, bitchy, and batshit crazy. Consistently inconsistent.
Well, that's it. My journal is 'friends only', but I'll add pretty much anyone. I just don't want to get arrested or anything, hahaha, so that's why it isn't a public journal. So, if you want a new friend on here, feel free to add me!

Hey, Meijn here.

This is a new live journal account. Ive had 2 ones previously. I don't really know why I want a new one to start all over again but i think its just because the previous ones don't really suit me well enough. I think grew out of it, so i changed.

Anyways, Im a fresh college grad here in Manila and I'm really looking forward to reading and knowing more people out there who someday i might have a chance to meet as one of my goals in life is to travel around the world, so far i've just gone around SEA.

There's tons of things that interest me, such as: nutrition, food, movies, tv, music, lifestyle, people, culture and so much more. So just add me ok? Hi, I'm Sam. I've yet to find my defining moment. I'm very much involved with music and photography. I appreciate understanding, passionate, and honest people. I'm a great listener, and love having intellectual conversations. I enjoy video games, saving money, and movies that make me squirm. I'm open-minded, out-spoekn, and outgoing. I mostly philosophize, complain about my lack of friends, and talk about my most gnarliest goals in life. I'm sarcastic, I curse, and I tend to make any sentence into something perverted. I have an open mind and I am ready to try new things. I like watching hockey, playing cards, and reading Chuck Palahniuk books.
