| About: | Now that there are actually people in this community, it seems I should write up a more complete description of WHY I MADE IT: I like to RP. A lot. As much as I can. Mostly I RP in IMs, but sometimes I'll slide over into round-robin story writing or message board RPs. This place serves as a way for people to get in contact with other RPers - yes, you can plug your LJ RP here. You can plug your MB RP here. You can talk about a LARPing group near you and see if anyone else is from the same area. You can just give a little description of you and what you like to play, and hope that people respond with interest. If you want, you can even post character descriptions, backgrounds, or logs -- but please, lj-cut them. If you don't know how to do that...you must be new to livejournal. hahaaa. So please, join up and post. It's an open community. Enjoy yourself. As per reasonable request of some members, with whom I agree, a new rule is now put into effect. PLEASE DO NOT POST AN AD FOR THE SAME RP MORE THAN ONCE EVERY OTHER MONTH. If you do so, the post will be deleted on the first offense, and you will be banned with the second. Just like any other well-meaning community on livejournal or any other forum/journaling website, I will ask that ALL complaints between members be conducted ONLY through AIM, MSN, or email. Yes, this is a direct post, and yes, some of you will understand. I am only doing my duty as a mod, so consider this a blanket statement: This is NOT a signboard to post complaints or accusations in any form - this IS a signboard to advertise RPGs and to seek RPG partners. I hate to be strict, but to keep the integrity of ~addicted_to_rp intact, I'm enforcing this one particular rule. If everyone thinks of this forum as a place to hash out drama instead of maintaining its aim, I will delete it.
