My overall top 10 artists on last.fm are U2, Rush, Oasis, The Beatles, moe., Umphrey's McGee, Pearl Jam, Widespread Panic, and The Stone Roses.
Things I've recently added to my iTunes library include Beirut, Hazy Malaze, Nine Inch Nails, and both Elizabethtown soundtracks.
This summer I'm going to Bonnaroo and I'll be seeing Rush; in July I'm hoping to catch Umphrey's McGee as well as Modest Mouse.
If you'd like to know any more, feel free to look at my user info or my last.fm page. :)

I'm Hris ,almost 15.
I'm really into 60s and 70s music and not much of a fan of the 80s.
I like classic rock ,hard rock ,60s indie ,pshychedelic rock and early heavy metal.
My two most favourite bands are The Beatles and Led Zeppelin ,followed close by AC/DC and Deep Purple.
My current Top 10 (according to last.fm) is :
1.Led Zeppelin
2.The Beatles
3.AC/DC
4.Deep Purple
5.Black Sabbath
6.The Yardbirds
7.Rainbow
8.The Who
9.Pink Floyd
10.Guns N' Roses.
Other bands that I listen to are : Cream ,Aerosmith ,The Doors ,The Kinks ,Uriah Heep ,Queen ,T.Rex ,Van Halen ,Nazareth ; colabortaions like Coverdale & Page and Page & Plant ; singers : Ozzy Osbourne ,Ringo Starr ,John Lennon ,George Harrison ,Alice Cooper.
When it comes to a band I like ,I often turn into a music snob and defend it to death. I know that's not a good habit but I'm just like that.
I respect other people 's opinion and music tastes but dont expect me to agree with you that The Stones are AMAZING or that today's music is not bad.
Anyways ,if we have a band or two in common and you can stand my rambling ,add me. I will add you back.

I'm Daniel and I'm looking to make friends. I incorporate myself with a lot of music. I buy albums and write up reviews for them and then post them on a site called Music Emissions. I started to put the reviews on my LJ so everyone could see them and comment on them saying whatever they want. I get to interview a lot of the touring bands and I have some interviews coming up that I might need help collecting questions for. I'm into a lot of different music, and it's practically impossible for me to have a favorite band because i listen to a lot of different bands every day.
Recently, I've been into: As Cities Burn, Every Time I Die, Boys Night Out, Thursday, Thrice, As Tall As Lions, Circa Survive, and The Format.
My taste changes a lot. Anyone can add me if they would want to, I'm not going to deny anyone. If you seem even the least bit interested in getting to know me, then you should probably add me. I'm a kinda fun guy.

i'm 22, f, graduating from college this year, i love music and concerts (not so much the money part) and i go to school out in Iowa, which normally means hours of driving to get to the gig. but it's always worth it.
now. me. and my music. Mr. Ben Folds with/or with his Five is my top artist ever. So there's that. if you love ben folds we should be friends. right then and there. i've been to 19 folds shows. so there's that too. i went to 30 concerts in 2007 alone. i tend to prefer piano driven stuff, at least that's how i started... and male vocals. don't ask me why, it's just the way it is.
I also really like; Elliott Smith, Snuzz, Ben Kweller, Cloud Cult, The Dresden Dolls, Andrew Bird, Hotel Lights, The Polyphonic Spree, Eels, Ben Lee, Bishop Allen, Rilo Kiley, The Decemberists, The Flaming Lips, Built to Spill, CAKE, Regina Spektor, They Might Be Giants, Guillemots, Clem Snide, Band of Horses, The Mountain Goats, Kevin Devine, Eisley, The Beatles, Oh No! Oh My!, Wilco, Stars, Midlake, The Old Ceremony, Rhett Miller, Tapes 'n Tapes, Iron & Wine, Belle & Sebastian, Gomez, Jeff Buckley, Animal Collective, Sufjan Stevens, The Postal Service, Okkervil River, Mute Math, Architecture in Helsinki, Neutral Milk Hotel, International Orange, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Chuck Folds Five, and The New Pornographers. This song is so, lets just say when I hear this song I want to jump and just start drumming and singing to this song. One of muse best songs. Sounding so epic, so strong and powerful and with the lead singer’s voice being so harsh in this song it goes great with the weird sounds that go along with this song. A perfect song for some anime.
2. Obstacle 2-Interpol
A bit of a cute song on their side. Singing about some girl and I don’t know, I think this comes in 2nd place is because I really like how one voice goes off and another like a split second later goes off singing another part of the song that the other isn’t singing. Smart.
3. West-Lucinda Williams
A slow song by this girl, don’t know what to call her, country or something like that? Really not so sure what say about the song but hey, its slow and nice right?
4. Dickhead-Kate Nash
Come on, why is Lily Allen and Kate Nash so god damn rude? Always singing about some guy fucking something up, always hating SOME guy in some song. Telling, they must suck at relationships since a lot of their songs seem to be filled with RUDNESS. Good song to put on when someone your close to fucked up.
5. Ridin’ In My Chevy-Snoop Dogg
You know this song is neat, its main course has a bit of a nice sound to it and really I like it. Most rap is crap but Snoop’s lyrics keeps me listing.
6. I Want To Go Home-Lenny Kravitz
My man, the virgin, so he says, his low sexy voice can put anyone to sleep, even a boy going through a sex change ^_~
7. Tears Of Gold-Ryan Adams
ahahahah country like that Williams girl who came in 3rd place. O man Ryan, your messing me up here.
8. Fire It Up-Modest Mouse
God’s of lyrics, modest mouse has put down a great summer song. This song has great sound to it, great lyrics, as made by the creator of lyrics, Isaac, a nice slow song to listen to when your having like a hard sell in the sun.
9. Rockstar Mentality-Shop Boyz
This is a really cool rap song. Its like a very catchy fun song with fun “HEYYYYYY’s” in the background as they say rockstar mentality and I really like the sounds they use in this song.
10. Rawhide-Jamie T
ONLY THE CUTIEST SOUNDING GUY EVER! Sorry Jamie T man what can I say? Great man, great song, great sounds, great lyrics, why is this in 10th?
