11:10 pm [ahava_sarai]	Hi   I've never been good at selling myself, but here goes... - I'm Sarah - Enjoys making lists, in case you couldn't tell..  -22 year old college student with no real idea of what I'd like to do with my life, but.. I'm a business major - My boyfriend and I have been dating almost 4 years, our anniversary also just happens  to be the same date as my grandparents wedding anniversary  - Sanrio fanatic - Other interests include: ~ Scrapbooking ~Reading (currently New Moon) ~ Taking pictures My journal will mainly consist of our life together (Jay's and myself)  We do have a shared journal, if anyone's interested.. just ask, I guess..  Oh, yeah.. I'm mainly looking for friends who are active, commenting every once in awhile just so I know you're reading. 7:19 pm [_thispinkribbon]	Kendra/19/Southeastish USA I'm starting my second year of college on Monday. I won't lie, my life is ridiculous. I am constantly doing ridiculous things, most of the people around me are CRAZY, and I tend to get by on luck. Not too much luck though. More like the kind that saves you after a string of unfortunate events. I have a never-satiable sort of curiousity about music, most all kinds. I'd like to be a well-educated listener. My friends list isn't to impress. I love people (on most days) and I like getting to know them, if only the tiniest bit. I'm currently bored because my mom is off having a sexy affair, my friends have already left for their respective schools, and my family is uncharacteristically busy, leaving me bored during these last few days of freedom. I'm a soon-to-be 24 year old marketing major who attends a community college in Michigan (and yeah that's me in the icon). I'm looking for more friends. Duhness! :-) Let's be honest here. Most people add people based on common interests, be it music, books, movies, hobbies, random fandoms. So I'm not going to be like "don't add me based on what I listen to". It doesn't work that way. People don't add random people just because they seem nice unless there's some common interests. I'm looking for new lj friends who do share some of my interests, but they also have to have the personality. And there's alot of interests. Like lots of people, music is a pretty much a form of oxygen for me. I listen to almost everything. But my ten faves? The Academy Is..., My Chemical Romance, Simple Plan, Every Avenue (hometown band), Gavin DeGraw, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Colbie Cailatt, Plain White T's, U2. I love going to shows as often as my work/school/money obligations will allow me to. I love movies. Almost every genre. I usually have to be in the mood to watch horror films though (friggin' anxiety). I'm basically a bookworm. When I was 11 years old I was reading at a college level. Lately I've been getting into reading memoirs/biographies. I don't watch a lot of tv. I'm basically a CNN junkie. But I also watch Supernatural, Gilmore Girls and One Tree Hill, along with a healthy portion of FUSE. I love shopping, hanging out at the beach, surfing the web, taking pictures, and hanging out with my family and friends. I appreciate people with a sense of humor, and a strong sense of self. But open-mindedness and honesty are important to me as well. I post quite often. Usually every other day, unless work has wiped me out in which case I'm sleeping alot. I post about whats been going on in my life, the random thoughts going through my head. I occasionally post memes and quizzes. Sometimes I write whole paragraphs, and occasionally I post lists. I try to mix it up. I'm looking for people who are between the ages of 18 and 28. Guys or girls. Also since feedback is kind of important to me (as it is a form of interaction), I like people who actually comment my entries. You don't have to comment every entry, but every few entries would be nice. That way I know you're still actually reading. I will do the same. Anyway, I'm at the moment in college (well technically I don't start back up for one more week, I'm on summer break :P) I'm into anime, reading manga, fantasy, gaming, and roleplaying. My boyfriend and his friends just got me into playing Dungeons and Dragons. It is a lot of fun to be honest. If you look at me though, I don't think you would see me as the type of person who would be into this. But yet I am. Both of my sisters don't agree with it, but my brother seems fine with it. 4:21 pm [banddragonfairy]	Hello! :) I'm a 20-year-old female, born and raised in Seattle and I don't want to live anywhere else. :) I'm working my way through college, slowly but surely obtaining a degree in Computer Science from a public college in the-middle-of-nowhere, Washington. My main focus is on Artificial Intelligence. I'm a bit of a science nerd. I love physics, specifically astrophysics. I also enjoy math as long as it doesn't involve word problems. :P I procrastinate a lot. I am fairly smart but my grades never reflect that for lack of completing things and going to class. :P I enjoy spending time outdoors as long as it is not sunny outside. I love faries and dragons, and I'm developing a nice little dice collection. I mostly listen to country music, but I'll listen to just about anything if I like it. A lot of the time, my music choices are based on the lyrics. I like to quote shows and movies. I spend a lot of time talking about X-Files and The Office, but I watch other things too. I don't really care much for crime dramas, I do like sitcoms. I steer clear of horror movies, but I enjoy action movies and romantic comedies. In my free time I enjoy reading, solving puzzles, coding, playing video games (mostly through LANing), rolling characters for RPGs that my friends and I play, reading webcomics, watching something interesting on the TV, playing around in Photoshop, playing board games, and of course surfing the web. I usually write about what is going on in my life. I'll occasionally post links to interesting news articles (usually ones about science... who would've guessed? :P). Sometimes I'll post a funny video that I think the world should see. And every once in a while there will be a post full of icons. I'm looking for people to comment on my journal, and I will return the favor. I graduated high school in 2007, im a college drop out. I realized I was sick of school since I was in school for 13 years. I am planning to go back. My favorite tv show is One Tree Hill. Cant wait for the 6th season. My favorite movies are the Guardian, Knocked Up, Step Up 1 & 2, the Notebook, Crossroads, anything expect stupid comedy or horror. My friends define me as a goofy, sarcastic mother fucker. My girl defines me as someone she is compatiable with in almost all situations, and then there is what I think of myself. Maybe I am all three? But I see another side; a dark side of humor and a lighter side of hopes and dreams. A few secrets sitting in the corner of my head with cobwebs surrounding them, an open debate, a splash of color, a movie with no words only music. A fit in the night every now and then. Or a parade of opium soothing the wreckage of scars, pins and needles that poke at me throughout life.  Everyone wants a little something. A piece of me or a piece of knowledge. And while being raised by church-going people-pleasers, I have adapted to this world even if I'll always feel a little bit foreign to it.  What I want? Is to share, to have people that want to know me; not what they hear of me from my family, friends and Steph. This is the real me in every form. This is my place to speak my foreign thoughts, to share this language with real people that have something to add to their smudge of the world.  Comment my friends only post to be added and tell me something interesting.
