Random Acts Of Kindness This community was inspired by this website which was created to encourage people to commit random acts of kindness through out their daily lives. There is, in fact, a whole week where we recognize the importance of committing random acts of kindness, but that does not, by any means, say that one should not do kind things at other times. A random act of kindness does not need to be a huge thing, it can be as small as letting someone get in front of you in line at when you’re shopping. This community was created in order to let people write about the different acts of kindness they commit everyday. Then others can read about what has been done, and can be inspired to start consciencely committing these acts themselves. Also, you are more than welcome to write about when an act of kindness has been done to you, and how it made you feel.

Rules of The Community There are only a few rules, but I ask that you must follow them:
- This community is obviously about random acts of kindness, so drama, fighting, insults, etc. will not be tolerated. For breaking this particular rule, getting a second chance is highly unlikely.
- For the time being, I would like to ask that you keep profanity and/or inappropriate language and subject matter to a minimum. This rule is most likely to change in the near future, however for now, I ask that you follow it.
- You are allowed to write about however many acts of kindness you or a friend committed, but if you are going to include pictures, you MUST PUT THEM UNDER AN LJ CUT. If you are unsure of how to do this, it explains how here. Also, if you are write a lot, please put some of the text under a cut.
- You are allowed to write about things a friend has done, however, you must have their permission. This circumstance may occur if they do not have a Livejournal account, etc.
- Please do NOT advertise other communities here. Also, the posting of graphics such as layouts and icons is not allowed, unless they have to do with Random Acts Of Kindness.
- You do not only have to write about things you’ve done, if you find and article/event/website etc that relates to this community, you are very much encouraged to post it.
