| About: | *Yes, I am aware "Kindes" is spelled with only one "s". I tried for two, stupid LJ wouldn't let me...I thought maybe the missing "s" would make it quirky. I was wrong. Now I'm just irritated at the lack of "s". Oh well....ONWARD! I was inspired to create this community by the concept of the ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} _postsecret_ community. Which was, of course, inspired by the Postsecret project in the first place...So we're all sorts of copy cats. Here's the spin: This is about random acts of kindness. The idea is this: Every day, or every few days, or when the mood strikes me, I'll post a subject, or a thought, or an idea, or a story, all relevant to these random kind acts. Anonymously, you reply. You can reply with an idea you've had, or a random act you've committed, or a random act you've been the "victim" of etc. And then after, our faith in humanity is restored, and we're all inspired to go out and do more good for strangers, and more people's faith in humanity is restored, and so on and so forth. AND, IF YOU HAPPENTO DO A RANDOM, (OR NOT SO RANDOM) ACT OF KINDNESS, REPORT IT BACK HERE ANONYMOUSLY SO WE CAN ALL READ IT AND FEEL GOOD. Yeah, I suppose this is kind of like the movie "Pay it Forward", but hopefully there's no tragic ending, and you don't have to have dimples to do it, and there's no obligation, if you've been the receiver of kindness to go out and find 3 other people to be kind to.
