1. For questions, comments, flames, critiques, complaints, cookies, marriage proposals, and miscellaneous directed to the mods, please use the email address provided. Don't comment on our personal LJs.

2. Please, no surveys/quizzes! No spam posts either (including rating or application communities of ANY kind)! Both will be deleted if they're posted.

3. This community will not tolerate flame wars, especially attacks based on race, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, experience level, etc. You get one warning for this, then you're banned.

4. If you need suggestions for an audition piece, audition tips, university acting programs, summer acting programs, how to join AEA or SAG, how to get an agent, etc, please check the memories before posting. kateherself has done an excellent job with this section - it's a resource really worth using. Plus, it keeps everyone happy.

5. Also, since audition piece requests are fairly popular here, a couple of words. First, it's fine to do so, but please be polite about it. Don't run in with an "OMG I NEED SOMETHING NOW" post. (Besides being just rude, it's also really frowned upon in the profession.) Be specific as to what kind of roles you play and what you're looking for.

6. Finally, we appreciate notices of auditions or performances, but if it's really big, put it behind an LJ cut. (Go here if you need to know how to LJ cut.)
