actor__icons.

Are you tired of wading through tons of icon posts containing musicians or random images? Been looking for a community that doesn't have a billion icons of boybands? Want somewhere you can go and find icons of nothing but actors and actresses?

actor__icons is the place for you. The only icons you'll ever find here are of actors & actresses. Candid shots, photo shoots, movie roles -- they're all welcome. You'll never find anything else.

The Rules:
failure to read the rules does not exempt you from complying with them

Do:
- Post only actor/actress icons here.
- Include icons in every post and make sure the icons conform to LJ standards.
- Include 2-4 teaser icons of actors or actresses outside of the cut or link to an outside journal.
- Post all non-icon graphics behind cuts, no exceptions.
- LJ-cut large batches. This means anything over 4 icons.
- Post only your own work.
- Follow the rules set out by the icon makers.
- Be respectful and polite.
- Label your posts with the appropriate actor(s)/actress(es) so they can be easily tagged.
- Post adult icons behind a cut and with a warning outside the cut.
- Limit your posts to 5 actors/actresses so they can be added to the memories. Tags are limited to the last 100 entries of that subject, but memories will list all of the posts.
- Promote your personal icon journals & icon communities twice a month. If you have more than one that you're promoting, put them all in the same post.

Don't:
- Post requests. There are plenty of communities out there for that. This isn't one of them.
- Spam or flame. If you don't like something, that's fine. We all have different tastes. Once will get you a warning; twice will get you banned.
- Dump your multi-fandom icons here. If you've got 80 icons in your post and only 4 of them are actors/actresses, this probably isn't where you need to post. This includes large batches of movie/television icons that are not actor/actress specific.
- Post teaser icons that are not actors/actresses.
- Post icons that are not your work.
- Link to locked entries in other journals & tell people they must join in order to see your icons. This includes linking to posts that you intend to lock at a future date.
- Disable comments on your posts here.
- Post adult icons outside of a cut or without a warning.
- Post "anti" icons. That's not why we're here.
- Ask for or offer program codes or cracked programs. It's illegal, against LJ's TOS, and can get us shut down. The same applies to commercial fonts.

If you have to be warned more than one time for a violation of the community rules, you may be banned. Moderators reserve the right to ban violators for severe offenses without warning. Posts that violate the rules will be deleted without warning.
