I wish I had a theramin, a saw, an untuned banjo, and a plastic egg filled with rice in order to make the soundtrack to this comic. One can't just read it; they gotta "reeead" it.

I'm liking what I see. What I hear, on the other hand, is another thing entirely.

Also... you have mastered the ink spray.

Foley artist, I am not.

Actually, it isn't spray. I have a mini sponge-roller. Works really well. Less collateral damage. I'm keeping the toothbruush for emergencies, though...

Ink roller

What I lose in efficiency (you go through more ink with the roller) I gain with control. And my board is less covered with pinhole sized inkdots than in the old days...

Hopefully we'll slip a little story-substance in here, as well!

The title banner is gorgeous.
I got a real, physical thrill as the candle passed the statues and then continued on. Not only beautifully rendered, but expertly directed.

Thanks. I was going to color the banner on the computer, but just couldn't swing it. Adding any color to the statues might have been overkill anyway...

Panel 334 = purdy. I'm not so clear on what's being communicated in 346, though. Incidentally, how DO you create that grey-splatter tone?

Thank you, much.
In 346, he's referring to the lamp he rubbed last post. He made a wish for an elevator and nothing happened. Then the waterwheels appeared which, it appears, may lead them back up to the surface....

I made a comment above about the 'splatter', it'a a mini sponge paint-roller soaked in india ink. Maybe I should post a pic...

I think of them as a mix between the Katzenjammer Kids and Indiana Jones....
But, I know what's in store for them soon, so I'm not sure *I* would want to be these boys. Rough stuff ahead...

deep under the surface of America, Vulcan and Vishnu stumble upon a monument to their spiritual antecedents. (along with lots of gold and jewels).

Well, they've picked up a little gold and coins and an ancient lamp of precious metals. Will it lead to more riches or more trouble, do yo think?

Thank you. Did you go back and read everything from the beginning? That's great! It's sorta tricky to have the posts work in little arcs and still have the overall thing read straightforwardly on a macro-scale.

Yea, I read the entire thing from frame 1- the end of chapter 2 on streetfables.com

Thank you for the great art!

Thanks. The format, with one pic at a time essentially, makes it easer to put a reveal in when the story dictates, rather than the page-turn. Glad it worked. I didn't even have all the panels in the correct, working order until the last minute.

Thank you much. I find when I excercise my brain, it hurts less later when exerting it in emergencies.
