That "marshmallow" stuff that Peeps are made of.

Distressing Fact: The company that makes the Adorable Marshmallow Chicks? JUST BORN.

*brrrrr*

Alot of people have been questioning what they're acctually made of if not flesh...and sadly, yes, I have thought about it. Marhmallows wouldn't be too far off though...

My fondness for the characters exacerbates the creepiness of the creatures attacking them.

This was a rather frightening page, yes, but, er... no. Stuffed animals do not have flesh.

are they too skinny or committing a fashion faux pas, is flesh not in fashion this season?
either way i'm creeped out. this comic scares me so much. it's like watching the care bears enter dune.
Bad things are going to happen, but our cuddly hero will prevail. Won't hey?...

GLAM kicks my ass and then eats up all my potato chips while farting bare-assed on my pillow.

i like to say "it doesn't make me feel safe"
the type of not safe where i feel anxious because b/c my stuffed animal fell off the edge of the bed in the house that's 100 yrs old, harborers strange noises, and keeps eerie feelings behind both sides of a closed doors. so i'm afraid to come from under the covers and rescue a x-mas present from an ambiguous fear with a plan to get me in subtle ways.
and then punch me in the face.

such unease this comic seems to be causing. I must say I didn't expect this kind of reaction, but am finding it really satisying/interesting...I guess all my horrible unsafe feelings are somehow coming through this comic.

excellent. thank you.

wow, I'm...I'm so very sorry, I didn't realise it had been misbehaving so badly...but don't worry I'll have a long, serious talk with the comic. please don't press charges.

Thank you! I'm so amused by people's reactions to the last couple pages. Also, despite being a David Lynch fan, I am yet to see all of Dune...only bits and pieces when I was much younger.

Dune is totally awesome. I picked Dune because well the are all those scenes in the Desert and junk. There's also the crazy fight sequences with energy fields. Dune is awesome.
I would not encourage you to watch it instead of writing Glam.
Glam > Dune .

The awkward water rush up your nose when you dive into a pool, when you stub your pinky toe for the third time in a row and it's a black stump by now, having to speak in front of a crowd and no one telling you that you have a booger, or pissing yourself in your sleep and you weren't even drunk...

This is what GLAM lets me forget, yet somehow reminds me of.

OK, so I've finally gone back and read GLAM from the beginning.
Before I praise your work, a complaint:
I was taking a lunch break and had gotten a falafel sandwich when I got to the part where Justin was all diseased, and he looked exactly like the texture of my falafel. GROSS!

Otherwise, you're building a really well-paced and captivating story here with nice, periodic reveals that continue to inform and intrigue at the same time.
The drawing is a cool synthesis familiar styles and techniques blended together to make something unique and personal.

Very cool! Congrats on 30 pages, looking forward to more.
