I think turn is too easy going a word... it's more like it was wrenched from it's current trajectory by a guided F1-11 Love Missile of DOOM!

This senorita dentatta (shall I use the original latin term?) is quite unnerving and not a good influence on our dear Maxie. I miss Kelly. Sure he has a swastika tattoo, but the world just made sense when he was around... However, I'm still glued to my screen already pining away for the next installment. :-)

Kelly's coming back, don't you worry.
[info]dangoldman

After all, *someone*'s got an apartment with a crappy futon and a city view that the reunited lovebirds get busy on. Just don't mistake Kelly's peaceful loopy-poopy for "sense"... everyone's got their own reality and they deal with it the best they can under the circumstances. As you can see, neither Theresa nor Max are what they seem to be.

New York is full of people zipped up into their ego-suits, shouting and stomping their own insecure footsteps in the pavement. Who you are and who you sometimes-successfully pretend to be are a big part of this story, my double-dipped Tootsie pop for the city I call home.

i know. It's never easy for them, out partying all night when suddenly a repugnant member of the "proactive street tax" forces them to give up their parents' hard-earned money as a tithe to the system they they will only ever lap the sweet cream of.

Incredibly strong twists and turns. The script is tight and the pacing is deft. This story gets better and uglier with every reveal.

Poor Jerry, just out on a night of the town and he's got this bitch all on his grill...

Hey btw... I'm loving the return of Kelly, but these particular making me wondering...

Where's the 718?

(Reply to this) (Thread)

[info]dangoldman
2007-02-09 04:17 am UTC (link)
718 as you know it is dead and buried, but distillation/mutation of it (with a different name and more experimental art style) is gestating while I sleep and should pop once SHOOTING WAR is in the can and Lilli and I have honeymooned.

Consider the first 11pgs a false start, a rough draft, a promise of things on the horizon. Cool?
