"KELLY" is Too Raw for Nerve.com

Recently, I announced that Act Two of "KELLY" would begin on Nerve.com early this month. Yesterday morning, I was informed that it will in fact not be appearing on their site at all, saying the sex was too dark and not in line with the tone of their Comics Issue.

What does that mean for our little friends and their grimy adventures? It means we're debuting "KELLY" here on ACT-I-VATE, now, today. I've spent the last month working on this sans the welcome company of your lovely feedback. This is some of my favorite work to date, so get ready to fling some kisses.

Sorry to hear the Nerve gig fell through. But I'm glad to see the Kelly back, with a great off-the-meds installment. All reckless and spontaneous. Love it.

WOOOT!!!! Pleasant surprise to see return of Kelly...unfortunate about the nerve.com thing.

Also...in regards to the comic itself: noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo~!!!!! Why, MAX?!? WHY?! (love the panel where he talks about it being the shark's nature to eat th goldfish with his arm all twisting around).

I had to wait all day to read, just in case I ended up staring at the Goldman artwork and not doing my job.

Now I get a double dose and will have to wait all day expectantly to see the sex tomorrow night. The day will NOT go fast enough!

Thank you for making me want to drink so much coffee that I drink lots of alcohol, then look at sex while filming people looking at sex and then still going to work the next day.

Back on the scene with a PWAP!
I read the chapter 1 PDF a few days ago.
It freakish and uncomfortable and dirty NYC...I'm really diggin' it.

I'm not familiar with the nerve site, though I did read their print anthology a few years back.
Has this experience with them led to any insights on the deployment of KELLY?
I understand the benefits to working with an established media outlet, but if they're gonna poison the punch bowl why invite them to the party?

I just wanna note that I'm refusing to draw ANY parallels between 'Goldman' and 'Goldfish'. It would simply be wrong to do that.
