Persimmon Cup


Because everyone else said it's fun, I'm trying to cartoon without a net. This is an ongoing story. It feels like I'm walking around the village naked and parts of my body are being tickled by winds and sweet zephyrs that I've never experienced before...

Every time you make a comic, you reaffirm my faith in the power of a good, aggressively sensitive, milquetoast-esque rendition of the inner child. The manner in which you deconstruct that awful pang of nostalgia mixed with fear and lust can only serve to herald us into a new era within the confines of the comix idiom.

i already love this; the "pulsating" comment nailed it too... this is trippy and eerie like childhood, kudos to you for never, ever ceasing to push yourself in every direction at once.

It's cool that you're doing this straight off the top of your head, with this kind of story, I think it may work, it seems very open to anything. I particularly like the last two panels, I think the lettering for the "WAIT!" balloon is perfect, and it gives a cool feeling to switch to that view in the last panel. Kind of gives you a second to take it in. What's a persimmon cup, By the way?

It feels like they're in something bigger, but its an environment unfamiliar enough to be sppoky and dreamlike. Anyway, no script? you make it sound like a bad thing. I'm nude in public all the time!
