GLAM part I: Page 18 + 19
Why two pages this week again??? Well, because I love. And I don't mean that kind of brain chemical reaction kind of love. I mean the kind that leaves you bloody and sore and confused once the drugs lose their effect...

Closing in on page 20! Woo!!!

On a side note:

It has come to my attention that some people who read GLAM have trouble associating the comic to a (my) name or face. Although the idea of slight anonymity is rather intriguing, I realise the comic business (and myself for that matter) is antisocial enough as it is, and this is, afterall, a group community...so here goes. For those of you who don't know who the crap draws this comic: Hello, my name is Pedro Camargo. That horrendous beast in my avatar is myself. It's a pleasure to be able to present my comics to you lovelies. May Satan bless you all.

Glam is the main reason I get up on Tuesdays (were it not for Glam, I'd just call in sick to work every week). I love how most of the citizens of Happy Warm Place Land are just happy and warm on the surface and are really self-interested and manipulative (or in Whyte's case, sort of crazy) underneath. Jerks! But, cute jerks!

Position Description: Must be slow moving, familiar with a variety of shells. Minimum 5 years of experience as a reptile required. Must be comfortable being kidnapped by ninjas.

I love that you have to be a reptile before you can be a turtle. Is the position of fat-tailed gecko the equivalent of "mailroom?"

Think about it, a turtle is the cushiest reptile job. You basically just eat leaves and chill in one spot for a hundred years. I don't know what the reptile mailroom equivalent is, but I know that those lizards who run on water are the reptile bicycle messengers.

this is true...the whole seeing only one page a week thing kinda made me want to put more information on the page than the story pacing acctually called for. Otherwise readers would wait a week just for some pages with nothing goin on. Your mentioning this makes me wish I had added some more of those awkward silent panels in the LAST two pages, more so than these two acctually....poop.

I love that the character relationships are being revealed and are fairly dimensional. I relate with everyone here, especially the guy pretending to sleep while looking up Sally's skirt on page 19, panel 6.

Pedro, we ALL know who you are. We're just too shy to come up to you at parties or write to you personally. We'll probably fumble through some kinda awkward small talk and the dream will be shattered. Forgive us little people.

well acctually this came up at nikki's party, brought up by Heidi. She said me as well as some of the other new additions to ACT-I-VATE were practically anonymous since we didn't really attach our names to anything we posted...so she knew who siliconneedle was...but not Pedro. Dig? She thought this was BAD...so I decided to say hello...
