So I flew around Azeroth, getting the skills I need for my First Aid, and then remembered it was in Theramore. Once there, I went to Camp Taurajo to goto Thunder Bluff for the Darkmoon Faire. I decided to eliminate the entire village while I was at it.

soooo i finished the rough draft of the body for my costume this year. i just need to fit it a little better and clean up some stitches. then on to the shell, head, arms, tail, feet & hands. Oh man hope i can finish.

So I totally just had the urge to finish my Roxas cosplay today.
Like finish...
It needs some touch-ups but I love wal-mart and their $5 shoes that come in all colors made for modifying.
So I made the shoes and the pants and made everything a little tighter-ish?
And then went out and took pictures with Jer's Axel.

So Anime Boston... was 7 months ago. NEW RECORD!! Sorry, gaiz. But if you read this con report, I promise lots of boobs lots of never-before-seen pictures to make up for it!
So Anime Boston 2008 marked the first time that I ever pulled a total all-nighter for cosplay... or anything, for that matter. The night before Thursday, I kept sewing straight until 7 am, when I went and woke my brother so we could grab some McDs for breakfast before driving to Atlanta for my early flight. Which was awesome, btw, because it was a direct flight and there was no one in the seat next to me! :D

So all in all, Anime Boston wasn't all bad. It wasn't particularly GREAT, but I think I got to hang out with my friends more than I usually do at cons lately. I know I won't be going back, though. I told myself that after the disaster that was mixing the skit at the last minute, I would NEVER do that again, and then Anime Expo happened... HA, I'M COOL. At least I made a significant improvement for NYAF, which hopefully means AX 09 will be even more successful in that area, ya know? Alright, that's all I got. Peace out, kids! I need to be social.
I mean I am not a social person, but I am trying to have high hopes for this con.
I did all the funding and costing things. Not gas though.

But this is the breakdown.

To get there is about 10 hours and 40 minutes.
I'm thinking we would show up late afternoon on Friday. (3:00-4:00)
We'd probably stay at a Super 8 or the Ramada.
Knowing this: if we show up late on Friday then the whole weekend, excluding food and gas, is about $210. Not. Bad.
Now of course, if we go to get there on Thursday night... then the trip will, excluding food and gas, cost $257?
So depending on what we have could depend on when or if we get there.

For cosplay plans, we pretty much are gonna do KH all weekend.
There will be a lot of KH people. Yes I know this. But not from 1. We like doing 1 justice. And we'll Do Axel Roxas justic by showing they are FRIENDS and not be like those crazy people.
I have been wanting to wear my Roxas so bad. So we'll see what is gonna happen.
Possibly throw in some Chrno Crusade depending on when we get there....

Oh my gooooooood I'm so tired.
My brain is like, "Stay up, stay up! You'll get five hours of your life back this way!" and my body promptly replies, "You moron, you shouldn't be running on five hours of sleep!". But if my body had it's way with me I'd wake up at 3pm everyday and nothing would ever get done, ever.
I swear I'm gonna get shit done today. Seriously.
Even my fish is like, "Jesus Christ woman, turn the light off, I was sleeping. D8" Not that there's too much difference between the light on and the light off right now, since the floating plants keep multiplying and covering up the top of the water so no light can get through. It's kind of a battle between me wanting my fish to be able to see and wanting my fish to have awesome oxygenated water.
I THINK MY MP3 PLAYER DIED TOO. Which would be, uh, the second MP3 player of this type that's broken, in which case I should probably say, "Screw you, SanDisk, I'm getting a Zune with MP4 capabilities." With the money... From the job... I don't have yet. :|
Yesterday I was all thinking, "Do I have a problem? Am I chronically tired or something?". Today I've realized... No. I'm just a lazy teenager that sits in her room on the computer all day when she should be outside doing... Life... Things.
I think my brother is home, COMPLAIN COMPLAIN.

I finally got around to watching Fall Out Boy's new music vid and who pops up in the end? Sarah Palin. WTF?!?! She's everywhere these days. Next thing you know, she's gonna turn out to be the boogie man... er, woman under childrens beds! I think we might need to call Sam & Dean.
ETA: Probably NSFW. Joe flashes people, but everything is blurred out. Also, there's a little short (like 7 second) advertisement before the vid cause it's from Yahoo music. But this is the best quality vid that I've come across so far, so I guess it's worth it.

Welcome to Povelgia Island. You don't know how you got here? You just got off the ship. What's that? You don't know how you got on board? Well, that doesn't matter now, you're stuck here. This place is a bit different from the other islands around, you'll find out after a while. Don't be surprised if you see a ghost or two. Most of them are rather nice, but there are a few that you should be careful of.
While you're here, you'll be staying at the Waverly Apartments. I'm sure you'll be able to find a place to stay. There are still a lot of empty apartments. Not many people are here yet. The Povelgia comes and goes daily, dropping people like you off.
