FULL-TIME: MILAN 3-2 SAMPDORIA

Milan lifted the Seat Pagine Gialle Trophy with a 3-2 win over Sampdoria. Massimo Ambrosini opened the scoring, Christian Vieri added the second on 50 minutes and Kaka netted the winner ten minutes from time after Samp came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2.


 


Wonderful game, huh, for anyone who watched.

MILAN - Milan have six nominations for the UEFA Football Awards to be held in Monaco on Thursday, August 25. They are: Maldini, Nesta and Cafu in defence, Kakà and Pirlo for the midfield, Andriy Shevchenko in attack.

Haha, the UEFA football Awards list has been shortlisted!


Goalkeepers - Cech, Dudek, Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus).
Defenders - Carragher, Terry, Paolo Maldini (AC Milan).
Midfielders - Kaka (AC Milan), Lampard, Mark van Bommel (Barcelona, PSV last season).
Forwards - Andrei Shevchenko (AC Milan), Ronaldinho (Barcelona), Adriano (Inter).
