Hi there. Figure it's time I get on the receiving end of the feedback. :P

I've just chosen a bunch of black and white icons dating back quite a bit. Some of my technique's changed, but... you be the judge.

Sorry for the longish post. The icons got all yucky looking if I put more than two to a line.
I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for from all of your feedback, but shoot. :D
Oh, and is there a set max or min # of icons that can be posted for feedback?

These are all wonderful icons! I don't know that there's much I could say that would be an improvement.

01. i like that eye. even though i can't tell who it is, i think the focus on the two feats works well. the other feat being the ear. i think a little more detail (or perhaps more white) needed on the ear as it looks like an elven ear. otherwise the starkness works well. 02. i think it interesting the focus is on the curl. nice cropping though. the image is a touch blurry to the left of the icon but i think it works well, more like a softness. 03. i love this one. the negative space around the image works so well. the image is a touch dark. 04. the background image is a touch dark. the forground image (heart) might work better if it had dimension like a faint drop shadow or was embossed or something. this is a really great icon though. 05. a nice idea. would help if the image of the man were a bit bigger or zoomed in closer so one can see who it is. right now there's really no subject in your icon bec one can't tell what any of the images are besides teh fog. 06. this is nicecly cropped and needs nothing in addition other than a bit more white for better balance.07. my only criticism is the image is too blurry even w/my glasses on.08. nice text icon. nice placement of the man and horse. 09. this is nicely done. you left enough for folks to still recognize who it is. many iconnists try this technique and crop away so much you can't tell who it is. that defeats the purpose of the technique imho. i think the graininess works well here. 10. also great cropping. i think if i knew of the person in the image i'd have no problem identifying who it is as you've cropped it.

cropping seems to be your forté.
