    Time Event
    7:33p
    I know this is abstract to most but;
    Instead of refraining from alcohol before my last blood screen to monitor my HVC, I drank more than my usual volume of absinthe for a week. The result: virus count; modest, liver functions; normal!
    Back in the nineties, before I eliminated other alcoholic beverages from my routine, my liver functions were always out of whack. I don't know if this is to be credited to the effects of the herbs, or the purity of the alcohol in absinthe, or just good fortune. I may, before my next blood work, limit myself to seventy percent spirits and water and see if I get the same result. All in the name of science, you know. I don't mind being a host to the little bastards (in my opinion, I treat them rather well) as long as I can avoid obvious malfunction, I want to continue with life as I have come to know it.
