abraxas for all your info. I should have asked you guys BEFORE I got anything. I was just soooooooo excited that I could actually buy it... Our art history teacher dismissed the myth about it making you "get high" or "see things" right away, but she said it had a very unique taste. I'm in college and I like to mix drinks for other people more than I like to drink myself. I also like to try spirits from all over and I haven't tried REAL absinthe yet... the stuff I got taste awful...like jagger and mouthwash. and I think it made me very sick.

I was wondering if anyone had a favorite type of absinthe. if it taste and different from the others

and what you suggest I do with the crap I got....
