Welcome to Abscond Press! A quick word on why we exist, and the significance of our name.
As shown by the definition above, we are avoiding prosecution. Once upon a time, one of our stories was pulled from fanfiction.net due to ‘graphic adult content’. We were upset by this clear violation of the point of the having a ‘free-for-all’ website. Fanfiction.net clearly had stated that they wanted to allow all sorts of expression, and yet by disallowing stories of graphic content (both of a sexual nature and dark themes), they were defeating their own purpose.

Thus, Abscond Press was formed. Here is where you will find fanfics ranging from ratings of G to NC-17, both heterosexual and homosexual content, because here we don’t believe in artistic limits. We understand that even graphic stories can be beautiful and entertaining in their own right. Thus far, only stories that we ourselves have written are posted here. Each story is clearly marked with ratings, and any warnings. Thank you for reading, and please enjoy.

Caitie used to be called Miyuki, but then decided that her actual mum-given name is pretty hot too, so she isn't anymore. She's seventeen, and thus, too young to do anything cool but angst. She's a sucker for modern fantasy, and would pretty much have Neil Gaimen's babies any day of the week. She sometimes (SOMETIMES) writes about German footie players rolling around on top of each other and being silly, and you are instructed NOT TO JUDGE HER FOR THIS. Ahem. Her favourite and least favourite things are as follows:

Favourite: sarcasm, really cool sweaters, shoes that fit and look nice, actually finishing things, writing (duh), reading, polaroid cameras, sometimes getting things right, cool cool people named Honooko

Least Favourite: stupid people, typos, snorting unintentionally, corn, when her fictionpress account gets closed due to inactivity.

Honooko is a spazz-tastic creature. Her interests flip-flop pretty quickly, but she still will go back and play with her old favorites, so don't give up yet! She likes slash, a lot. And femmeslash. And het. Okay, so she likes romance and smut. Can you blame her? Lately she's been adventuring in the world of Real Person Slash, but PLEASE DON'T SUE. SHE'S POOR. SHE SLASHES BECAUSE SHE LOVES. And because she's a perv. Johnny's Entertainment owns her soul at this point.

Honooko is a senior in university, majoring in Social Sciences. She's 21 and looks like jailbait, which makes flirting awkward. Her spoken Japanese is quite good. Her written is crap. Woes.
