I turned in the "Little Red Riding Hood" essay. Jesus freakin hell that paper . . . I don't want to hear that story for another few years.

Mid-term started today, but I can't take it because of my writing and all so, I have to wait till she sets something up on the computers to actually take it. But other than that the uh, main focus is Lucas.

I finally get to Lucas' introduction today and then things will go ALOT quicker. Gabriel's a punk and I want to kick him somewhere but he's going to be the pain in the neck because I planned him that way (and he's not near James' level of crazy). I actually got sad last night this wouldn't really fit into adult!verse cause um yeah discussion would have been over 6 pages ago and he would've been decapitated and possibly ripped to shreds. *grumble*

Also does this make sense to ya'll?

Okay, I gave my Uncle my payment from last week (okay the last few weeks) that I got from work for, like, just coming up here because I didn't want to go anywhere. Right which my Mom and Dad had no problem with but then Uncle tells Krystal (who wasn't here thank god) and she gets all 'WHAT THE HELL DID SHE GIVE YOU 300 DOLLARS FOR?' AND IT CONTINUED . . till Mom turned around and gave 300 dollars to my Uncle for her to stop her bitching.

I JUST . . . DO YOU . . THE LOGIC AND THE ENTITLEMENT BURNS.

There is a reason Mom thinks I'm more mature than her and that? Proves it.

I should probably shower, get my protein drinky - whats it bottle (that Dad insisted on) and get some more done before 7:30 tonight with the podcasting.

ETA: It amuses me to no end that Brendan lurks and looks at his own picture threads on his own boards. I wonder if he still has that all famous clip box for when he gets older.

So far today I have: been awoken far too early for the first day of a three-day weekend by various fuzzy babies, taken my grandmother to WalMart where I spent eight jillion dollars on bird seed, taken my grandmother to Wendy's for lunch, semi-repaired her sprung curtain rod with a pink pipe cleaner, talked to my parents for the first time in three weeks, made some icons, and been eaten alive by mosquitoes. Which, what the hell, mosquitoes?! It is OCTOBER, please go and die somewhere already.

Up next: more icons, lots of dish-washing, hopefully some cooking, maybe some Sims-playing. YAY LONG WEEKEND!

This show has had a couple of boring episodes this season, but for the most part, it's been fun to watch. I have mixed feelings about it being canceled, but I hope it goes out with a bang, and maybe it's for the best that it end now before these PTB do some really stupid things. As long as it doesn't end with a double wedding of some sort, I'll be okay with it.

I don't have a lot to say about it, but I really enjoyed this episode. My thoughts are behind the cut.

So, flist - have any of you ever gone for allergy testing? And when I say ever, I mean "as an adult", because apparently they do it differently when you are a grown-up -- on the arms, instead of on your back, which is what I thought. And apparently the results are same day, not after waiting a week or so as I had previously thought.

I have to go in for it on the 23rd and I'd love to know what to expect -- in terms of both the procedure, and how uncomfortable it all is, and the aftermath, etc.

And if any of you have subsequently ended up getting allergy shots, I'd also love to know what to expect from those, and how effective they were and how soon and for how long.

I've done my fair share of googling for this info but most of what I've found is from the doctor's POV, and "expect mild discomfort from itching" doesn't really tell me much. My doctor told me that I "might" experience "minor" depression after my spinal surgery a few years back, lasting "possibly 1-2 weeks" -- and I didn't crawl out of that hole for six months. I am not much with the trusting of doctor's estimates of my discomfort levels, these days!
